I was wondering what material would be best to use as wick for staffs and poi. I recently found some non-blended kevlar tape, would that work or is it best to go with a fiberglass or cotton blend with the kevlar? As well, would fiberglass tape do the thing too?

as far as i know the kevlar cotton mix is best. kevlar for strength and cotton for absorbancy.

My ultimate staff would be carved outta ivory, with white rhino skin handles and baby seal fur wicking.
