They're high intensity glowsticks. That's why they're so solid looking. They last for only a few minutes but are crazy bright.

(OK, I'm bluffing, I don't see the picture either...)

Ok I admit to being a fuckwit, for some reason I managed to fuck up posting the link, thanks for the guess NYC - i was hoping you were wrong and they were one of the electroglow type things but I do think they look amazing.

NYC is correct...They are high intensity glow sticks.

They are very bright when first broken. I have had people complain that they are too bright. This picture was taken about two minutes after they were broken.

Do a search for “High intensity glow sticks” and you will find plenty of places to purchase them.
