I was wondering, for those people using string, yarn, whatever...which knot you use to tie it to the handle...all mine seem to come undone.

I've always used a slipknot. to put it through a solid hole, you need to basically tie it like a noose with only one loop around. but you have the freedom to use however many you want. I've done it with only 2-3 millimeters sticking out and they still havent slipped after 2 months. also a square knot used to work fairly well for me before I started using the slipknot.

you can't have a war against terrorism because war IS terrorism.it's not about worshipping fire. its about making the fire want to worship you.

I use a Clinch Knot, but check out fishing knots for more great knots.

If we as members of the human race practice meditation, we can transcend our fear, despair, and forgetfulness. Meditation is not an escape. It is the courage to look at reality with mindfulness and concentration. Thich Nhat Hanh

I found this page that shows how to tie a slip knot:
https://www.indoorclimbing.com/Slip_Knot.html

This knot seems to work pretty well with colecord.
