You can tell was made by a beginner. lol, anyway. I took the straps (finger loops) and string from my zuni's, and threaded a keyring through a glow in the dark street hockey ball...this should be fun

I just made myself a practice pair last night out of string, gaffa, 2 tennis balls and 2 screws.

Screw goes into ball, string goes around screw, tighten screw so tennis ball doesn't fly off and bean the dog, then roll and fold some lengths of gaffa to make the handles
About as DIY as you can get!

I'm planing on wrapping more tape around the balls to give them some more weight (and to stop the damn dog going after them!)

its all about the socks and glowsticks.

you can't have a war against terrorism because war IS terrorism.it's not about worshipping fire. its about making the fire want to worship you.

Good luck with the practice poi...a word of advice, balled up socks on shoestrings work really well...I resorted to this method after my practice chains w/tennis balls knocked a hole in the celing one rainy day...the landlord was not happy! becareful inside!

Life is serious, but art is fun!

Broke my practive glowsticks once while I was learning, and I was so desperate to keep going I replaced them with the only thing I could find...padlocks. NEVER do this!

P.S. I think we need a smiley who's in pain. It would be so applicable to this board. <--- These two need to have a kid, it would look about right
