The sun is shining, the weather is improving..
Does any one fancy a picnic type affair on the common in S'hampton on a saturday day to evening and maybe beyond??

I tried to get something together for this weekend - but it all went a bit flat..

Anyhoo.. If you think it could be a good idea.. lettuce know.. and I'll try to sort it out..

picnics by close to the sea side..

Hey guys,

Was at the common the weekend, and found out that we will not be alone on the 26th, seems the fair will be there to, so if anyone gets bored of spinning you can go get spun by a machine!

I checked out where they are located and there is still miles of room, however parking the car outside the cowherds may be a problem, you may have to stick the wheels down the road a bit.

Just thought id let ya know.

See you all soonz!

So important he posted it twice

Soooooo, who do we have down as definates?
I'm coming (obviously) but I'm not sure how many of the Guildford crew are - Did we actually mention it to them Stixxy? I don't think I did...

I'll have to find a bongo or two to get some funky rhythms a-going. Sadly, I can't get my kit and my staffs in the car at the same time

The LAST train from So'ton main station to London Waterloo is at 00:15 and gets in at 01:52.

I think it costs £22.70 for a standard return, or £15.40 with a Young Persons Railcard.

If anybody fancies giving me a lift I'll be well up for coming down.

This probably isn't very helpful, but I can give you a lift down to So'ton, but I'm staying with friends down there over night (altough I haven't told them this yet...) so can't offer you a lift back.

I'll speak to my mates though and see if they have any spare floor space (It might be flea ridden though, they are students )

I'll need a lift off either you or Durbs if thats cool. I'm gonna try and get my house mates to come down too so lifts might not be possible.
Are you guys going to be out to play tonight in Guildford? I'm gonna try and get my arse on the train over there.

It's been really nice weather for the past few weeks, and just the day before this bloody event, it starts to rain. Oh well, will just have to hope it turns out nice tomorrow.

Wonderful to see everyone and have a good natter and spin.
I think Spanner deserves an award for learning the basics of staff in the quickest time - what was it? 10 minutes?

Great to see you again to Ros, and stop saying you're rubbish at spinning!!

Also everybody else for turning up and staying through the rain - it was wonderful.

Hurrah for Stix for organising it

Hi everyone! Had a really good time at 'spoc' thanks for making us feel welcome...just got back from southampton and its 9 oclock! Cheers to jim 'the scientist' for letting us sleep and eat all his food at his house!

It has also encouraged me to keep trying with the poi...and maybe even have another go at staff!

And the journey didnt go too bad on the way home! Cheers!

I never once said I was rubbish!!

I mentioned that I should practise more - and I pointed out some nifty stuff that others weree doing and said I wanted to learn it! I've just had tempest hastling me for about an hour for being negative It's just cos I want to be able to do the stuff I see around me - that's all! But I never put myself down (maybe messing about but not seriously) - surely someone will attest to that??
