The sun is shining, the weather is improving..
Does any one fancy a picnic type affair on the common in S'hampton on a saturday day to evening and maybe beyond??

I tried to get something together for this weekend - but it all went a bit flat..

Anyhoo.. If you think it could be a good idea.. lettuce know.. and I'll try to sort it out..

She does however complain that she's not as good as certain others round these parts.

Ok, I wasn't being literall.
But anyhoo - you're an amasing spinner and I was mucho impressed with all the BTB stuff that's been playing havoc with my shoulders for the last couple of months.

I'll try and put the photos up this evening, I didn't take as many as I wanted, but that's just an excuse to do it again

we started at the Hobbit pub drinking pint cocktails for £4 - I had a Frodo (double vodka, Arhcers, cranberry and lemonade) and a Gollum (double vodkz, blue curocao, orange juice and lemonade) Had to drink them really quick coz it was closing time.. so i mixed the two together - got a Mirkwood (looks like muddy water) but tasted great..

Then it was off to the Dungeon (bit of a goth/mental club) but it's got a nice area outside where we sat with the jugglers... they had pretty balls.. UV and everything...

T'was my fault for draggin' ole Trippy away from the party... I promise next time I'll let him play!! Thanks to everyone for sharing (either directly or from letting me watch) their skills... I will have to get me practicing hat on!!

Next time I think I'll invest in a BBQ and some grub... I was starving by 10 'o'clock!! Hence we wandered home for pizza!

Thanks again to you all, hope we can do it again some time, Trippy is hoping to get a POOFTAR ! going (Poi Or Other Fire Toys At Rudheath!)...

lol - The Frogollumdo (later named the mirkwood cos it looked like pondwater) was the nicest drink in the place! Good on ya misstix!

Chilli & Trippy - I didn't know you were driving down. You could have brought my boyfriend with you1 I haven't seen the poor bloke for weeks - so if it happens again we'll have to arrange something.

(The jugglers were Rupert n Tom btw)

THanks to everyone for a wicked night and so much inspiration! I can't put my toys down - there is so much I need to learn. loads of special thanks to Durbs n Stixy who both gave me a real confidence boost Love you guys. And as always you both looked bloody fantastic with an endless supply of new stuff! Stix your green flames were boooootiful.

Great to meet Trippy, Scientist n Chillipepper too you're all naturals n with a teacher like trippy your staff's gonna get good real quick. - and WessexGirl rocks! Sorry you had to run off so early babe. Ow - your spinning blew me away, so I've nicked a load of your tricks to make me feel better .

Strugz - thank your lovely girl for, well, being lovely and putting me up and for having the best sofa in the whole wide world. I've stolen some of your doubles stuff cos it looked awesome, but you don't need to worry.....by the time I've perfected it you'll be well away with a whole new set of nifty tricks. Great to see you babe, and to meet mrs wonderful

I did think that before the event, but as he hadn't been into the thread i figured he mustn't have been interested.

I can't believe you Trippy and Chili... When WE drive down again? I thought you two sat smoking and listening to the Chili Peppers, eating munchies and drinking tea whilst I drove down... 7 freakin' hours!

As neither chili or trippy can drive, I will be more than happy to accommodate C@ntus or anyone else. As long as they aren't claustraphobic.

PS Manly hugs and shoulder slaps to Trippy as he has now finished his job, and won't be on here much now

Did you have some glowsticks with you at SPOC? They retail for £2.50 y'know, and come with strings..Variety of colours etc etc...

Hello guys,

Sorry not been in touch in the post room, been stuck in Amsterdam for the last five days mmmmmmmmmm Amsterdam

Was wicked to see so many staffers and poiers on the common an once, Thanx to those who i did know and extra thanx to those that i didnt

Maybe next time summit like this goes on ill actually have the confidenct to go round and talk to everyone!! (or ill just lay off the gear so my brain can handle a conversation )

As far as getting a copy of the vid, dare i say it - who wants one?

It mainly contains fire bits from the evening, some of it in focus, some of it not

The main bits in focus included:

Stix a number of times
Durbs a number of times (awsome set with ropes)
Trippy (i think, lighting his wet staff)
Roz (optional availability on the burning of the dreads moment)
Ow a number of times, (ya rope set was tooo bright for the camera to focus!!)
Kieth poi set - very inspirational spin
Me just playing once.

It will only be 15 - 20min long or so but if you want a copy, i will get done over the next month and send it out to ya, just PM me ya addressess.

Open to all.

Anyhow hope to see ya all again soon!

Ahhmmmsterdam huh? Suprise you made it back darlin!

I would love a copy - to go with the first colection from last year.. do you realise that is over a year ago now? Time flies mate.. We've been spinning together for over a year.. awww.. innit nice?

can you get it on digital format? My work is gonna be an ISP soon and I should have access to lots of freebie webspace hopefully I'll be (trying) to sort out a web page thingie.. with the remote help from the delightfull Mr Tempest.

Not sure how much space Durbs has got - but it would be nice to get it on the web so that others can see it too...
