Saw on the news this morning that Glastonbury is going ahead again this year despite protests...

Apparently they are spending more on security and suchlike. Don't know anything more, alas, as the news report was sketchy on detail.

Hey nimska. I worked in the dance tent last year. Are you network recycling? You'll have both the hardist and most enjoyable time. The dance tent is an arse, its really messy, and last year we had a little hitler of a boss (probably different boss this year). He made us work so hard, and we had to clear the other stage after we'd finished. Meant to be 92 people working on the dance area, ended up with only 9 of us. But the people were wicked, and the dance area is the only area where your back stage with the artists, and you get better food and shower cubicles which is such a bonus. I just called glasto and got a job there i'm so happy, so maybe we could meet up and spin together. PM me nearer the time if you want to.

The line up has been announced!!

Am looking forward to seeing David Gray, Radiohead, Moby, Morcheeba, Fat Boy Slim and the Chemical Brothers.

But....If the liquid connective party is anything to go by, then I'm going to be way too facinated and enthralled by the beauty of the trees to venture out!!!

Can't bloody wait now!

25 days to go. Woo hoo!

Heh to all

Im actually performing as part of a Fire Duo called "Cosmic Flame" - we'll be doing the Big Evening FireShow and various walkabouts - so watch out for us.
Ill also be selling loads of Jugggling and Fire equipment (very cheap kevlar and the biggest Poi youve ever seen!!)
What I was wondering was if anyone has any advice on how to get a job at the festie, as my mate has been let down by the peeps he was going to work with there.
He's willing to do whatever - litter, welfare
could you send any info to my email
cosmicflamefire@yahoo.co.uk

Thanks in advance and hope to see and spin with as many as possible of you, at the best festie in the world!!

So are we all aiming for the Dragon field (eer that would be the quiet camping area would it??? - I've never been over that far towards the trippyhippy side, but it sounds nice)

+ Col what's this about a social gathering tent?
Is it big?
What time you leaving to drive down - I'll give you a hand with it if I'm about when you get there.

a secret?! you know niki buying yourself surprise pressies doesn't quite work the way it does when other people get you stuff...
still, i'm being cryptic too i guess so i'll shut-up - three is the clue though

i fink i has spied da fox... and it well looks like he's a bloke?! hey chad.
i'll be missioning down on the wednesday morning.
should get there fairly early too as we're setting off from fleet - that way the m25 mission is already over and done with in the morning.
as for the big tent, we'll be taking that on a roof rack i reckon. its just a big awning/tent that we used as a living room last year. don't see any reason why we wouldn't want it again so some help setting that up (and taking up as much room as possible for when everyone else turns up) would be grand.

how's that rump bluecat and you were worried about your ears?!

where will you be mr cole? cause we have 1 geodesic 1 big tent but i fear we will be in separate performers bit where you need security passes to get into....

so i just might come visit you with a pair of sticks plucked from my workshop... but only if you make bambam a copy of video stuff for her puter.

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to get from the train station to the site?
And then how long it's likely to take to get to the dragon field from the bus drop off site?

Since I'd have to set off now if my car was to manage that far a drive, I'm having to go by train, which may well limit how much fuel I can bring unless I can figure out a way to carry it easily

Coleman, I'm planning to get the first train leaving wycombe on wednesday morning, so I should be getting there pretty early - I'll give you a hand putting up your lounge if you want

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
