Coleman - John Leslie does not present blue Peter any more

Jon - can you get us a spinning job on Eastenders? I'll even kiss Ian Beale? I always wanted to be on a Japanese drama but Eastenders would equally rock

I'm a bit crap at spinning so far, but would practice my socks off for a blue peter badge.. Would love to.. you get tonnes of discounts and free entry to stuff with one, mostly tourist stuff, but still cool.

righty hoo...i have sent 2 emails off; one to my contact at the bbc and the other at blue peter which went a little something like this:

hello, a group and friends and i are interested in an unusual hobby, called poi, which when done correctly can look astounding. to view for yourself goto either the official poi website www.homeofpoi.com or my own site www.ucof.1afm.com and look at the pictures. we were wondering if it would be at all possible to appear on one of the blue peter programmes some time in the future. i am based in the north west of london, but others are based in central london.

any feedback is greatly appreciated!

is dat ok with everyone...i will tel you when they get back to me!

this is the email i got from blue peter this morning...

Dear Jonathan,

Thank you for your email.

The Blue Peter office receives a large number of interesting ideas and suggestions every day and unfortunately it's not possible to follow up every one of them. We can't make any definite promises to use your idea, however we'll certainly keep it in mind for the future.

With best wishes from all of us on the programme.

any suggestions what i should say back?
