Posted:----------- Spinning@... Update -----------

Dear all

we have moved to a new location.... se here for the new treead

http://www.homeofpoi.com/ubbthreads/show.../o/fpart/1/vc/1

see you at the rag factory..

this is why we have moved...

We had discussions in the pub on Tuesday regarding the use of the market for spinning@spitz and thanks to friends we have a much clearer idea of whats going on:

Unfortunately we are not allowed back into the market for our workshops. It seems that while we have been out the market for the work, there has been a change of management. The new management appears to want to increase the value of the market area (gentrification is the term being used). This has led to many of the existing tenants not being invited to re enter the market, our selves included.

The stgeorges residents association would have had no idea we would not be allowed back in, so although annoying its not their fault. We still have contacts in the market and we dont want to cut out any future possibility of re-entering the market at a later date by kicking up a fuss, especially when there is no chance at all of us using the space in the current climate.

We need to do 2 things 1. Find a temporary place to play ASAP (see top) and 2. Find a permanent new home to help us move forward we need your help. Please think of the people around you, be it your parents, friends, colleagues etc and see if there is anyone who may be able to finds us a new home put the feelers out there.

If you find somewhere that fits our criteria (see below) then please get a contact name, a number or email and if appropriate, have a brief chat with them as a recommendation or personal contact makes a huge difference. If they are interested, forward their details to me and I will then chase it up.

We require an indoor or covered outdoor area with adequate lighting able to house up to 100 people on a Tuesday evening within 10mins from a tube and centrally located. We also require power to run a portable stereo.

On another note we have decided to have a Xmas party to raise some funds to help us secure a new spinning@..... s venue. The confirmed date is Thursday 20th December in a Brixton from about 7.30 pm to 1 am. More details to follow.

Hopefully we will get sorted very soon and in the meantime we will meet at the poet next week and maybe look at ice skating, bowling or something else there after.

Huge hugs

Kev and the guys at spinning@.... s

wow...

that's very ninja.

Has she ever stealthily infiltrated fortresses to assassinate feudal lords?

That would be cool...

she was the greatest samurai in the empire;
and she was the shogun's decapitator.
she cut off the heads of a hundred and thirty-one lords.
it was a bad time for the empire.
the shogun just stayed inside his castle - and he never came out.
people said his brain was infected by devils.
my mother would come home - she would forget about the killings.
she wasn't scared of the shogun, but the shogun was scared of her.
maybe that was the problem.
then, one night, the shogun sent his ninja spies to our house.
they were supposed to kill my mother; but they didn't.
that was the night everything changed...

Bloody Fairys! I spend three and a half months stuck in Arcadia, loosing track of time due to a naughty Faery Goddess...and now she mocks me for it .

Perhaps if I’m good she’ll let me go soon

Posted:ARGH!!

[censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored]!!!!

took me 4 hours to get home last night!!

left at 10 with a tear in my eye, got to Charring cross, asked when the next train to Canterbury was...(bear in mind this was about 22:50) the bloke said 23:30.
ARSE no. 1

waited around for a while...

more thean a while

much more than a while...

only to find out that the last train direct to Canterbury had already left.
ARSE no.2

that meant i had to get the 23:30 to Ashford international then change onto a bus
ARSE no.3

Went to chat to an aesthetically pleasing young lady...onto to look up and see her boyfriend glaring at me.
ARSE no.4

Got to Ashford INternational at some stupid time only to wait a further 30 mins for the frigging bus to turn up!
ARSE no.5

Dingy old bus turns up.
ARSE no.6

takes yet another 30 mins to get to canterbury in a frezing cold, dingy, smelly bus.
ARSE no.7

Thakfully as soon as i realised that we were coming up to canterbury i went to the front of the bus. This meant i was fiirst off and got the only taxi for a long time
Hooray no.1

Shared a cab with, not one, but TWO damn fine ladies up to the Uni. 3 in the back (me in middle) means lots of body contact and 'acciddental groping' wink
WOOOOOHOOOO no.1

got back at 2 in the morning..

knackered.

Thaks for a brilliant night tho everyone.

Made me feel moucho moucho happy.

hug

Hells: poke

I especially liked the juggling ring gang rape of simian.

will somebody hug adam of the north for me please (he's off back to coventry for the hols) and ds ads too (cos its his birthday today!).

in fact, i think it'd be a good idea for everyone i know to hug each other - less because i'm not there (you won't even notice me gone will ya you b*stards!) but the extra hugs will help to keep all you fluffy people nice and warm.

see ya all soon wave x
