Reclaim the Beach 8
Friday May 31st
8.30pm (lowtide is at 11.30pm)
Royal Festival Hall Beach
Sounds by Nasca + some.
Visuals to make your eyes water.
Bring : things to drink, eat, roast on the fire, friends, sound and light to shine.

This is a really nice event and a really beautiful place to spin, with the water laping by you and a backdrop of city lights. So go spin there, and it's completely free!

Unfortunately I can't go as I'll be dancing to DJ Hell and Fischerspooner down the road. But that'll be fun too!

GOOD IDEA!

A beach is exactly what London needs. I would visit a lot more often if it had a beach so go on everyone, go! and reclaim it!

Starts at 8.30. Low tide is 3 hours later. Is there an option for those that don't fancy treading water?

Inflatable rings are provided for those who can't tread water for 3 hours

London has beaches, and it's possible to walk quite a way along the Thames beaches at low tide. Down there the rest of the city melts away. Put it on your list of things to do next time you're in London: wander and spin by the river.

My mental picture of the Thames at that point on London is not dissimilar to the River Ankh. Is it a bit stinking like Miss Odissi suggests? Will BA's be supplied for those that can't take the stench?

DFQ, people can come to your party after spending a bit of time at the beach. From Festival peir you walk to waterloo, jump on almost any train, and you're in Vauxhall in 5 minutes. Easy!

I can't go to either because, as I discovered at Clapham, London is stupidly far away, way too easy to get lost in and very expensive.

Good to meet you all again, and I _will_ remember to bring some steel wool next time...honest...

I made it back work in Milton Keynes for 3:30am (start work at 7:30am) and luckily it has been a quite day as predicted :-) finally dragged my ass off the sofa in the canteen at about 11am:-)

Another super day and I am stuck in the office :-(

Have fun all!
