Reclaim the Beach 8
Friday May 31st
8.30pm (lowtide is at 11.30pm)
Royal Festival Hall Beach
Sounds by Nasca + some.
Visuals to make your eyes water.
Bring : things to drink, eat, roast on the fire, friends, sound and light to shine.

This is a really nice event and a really beautiful place to spin, with the water laping by you and a backdrop of city lights. So go spin there, and it's completely free!

Unfortunately I can't go as I'll be dancing to DJ Hell and Fischerspooner down the road. But that'll be fun too!

Looks like I will be there with my poi, Kota with his devil stick and some friends just to come and see the pretty lights.

Unless Sat night is horribly rainy and windy and then I will be sitting at home drinking Irish coffees and rolling rolling rolling!

See you Sat! Do your no-raindance Coleman

OK, my toys will be with me on Friday night at Jez's just to increase my chances of a burn over the weekend, so no u just have to wait about 24 hours.

Yay to someone doing a "no-rain" dance.

am doing my anti-raindance as we speak

unfortunately i don't think i'm gonna be able to reap the benefits myself - been in bed all day with the flu looks like you all might have to burn away the rain without me come friday night...

Hey Party People,

If it's pissing down rain, is it still on??? Because if so, I'd still rather be pissing it up in a warm club than catching a cold on a rainy beach...

Smallboy thanks for the words of encouragement, if I make it I'll try not to fall on my ass in the mud. No promises though!!

Bling bling...twas good...apart from 2 things:
1) the annoying heavy but light rain
2) the complete and utter random fruitcakes who kept on turning up through the night (no...not dom or glass) especialy that loony in the white.

but i enjoyed it...hope all of you did too.

glorious start to the beach year.

We'll start around 9pm with lowtide at Midnight and finish at around 3am Amusing your ears will be The Very Fine S p e k t r u m, and a fine line of other uniques, yet to be confirmed, but live and acoustic and very good, especially on the river.

Place: the beach in front of The Festival Hall.

For more information and updates .. see : www.swarming.org.uk

See you sandy

PS. We are on the look out for other people, players, performance artists, events, ideas, bands, chiors, clowns, digital musicians, etc that would like to contribute to the events. Please reply beach@swarming.org.uk if you're interested

Hey MisStix...

I agree, bring your Sis with you!! No reason you can't spin AND entertain your sister for her birthday, heck, she might really like it!!

I will be there party people, I've waited a long time to go to one of these events...

Might be by myself so hoping some people won't mind taking me in!

See you!
