Posted:lovely... butterfly, what will you be selling at your stall?

Do come and be involved in the show... *everyone* is invited to be part of it - there will be room for everyone - no matter how much or little experience you've had with fire.
There will be sections where performers are just holding fire torches and doing a big Fire Circle Dance.. or a fire version of Thai Pole Jumping... but then there will be both choreographed twirling sets and then a form-based choreography of freestyle twirling if you really want to come and show off your tricky double-triple-backspin-wrap-to-the-power-of-infinity-beats

We're playing with some other fun new toys too - we'll let you know when (if) they work out...*

So please do contact us if you want to sign up for performing - we need to provide the organisers with a performer list so you don't have to pay to get in

Oh, and we're also doing another show on the Sunday night as well - we'll decide at the rehearsal on the 1st June if everyone wants to do that one too, but at this stage it'll be a smaller show with just the core group of Phoenix Fire Tribe... so if you can't make it Saturday, come along the next night instead...*

Love to you all and don't forget this coming Sunday *masquerade* theme for Moon Fest...

Posted:hmmm...... well I would love to say yes, really I would... but we kind of have a (over)full house at the moment... 3 grown-ups (or kind of) a 4- year old and 2 dogs all in a pretty small 2-bedroom house... but if my brother & his son & ridgeback dog happen to find somewhere else to live in the next month I'll let you know and of course you'd all be more than welcome to stay!

if it happens to be raining on Saturday (fingers crossed it won't, though) - please contact us as we'll have to postpone the rehearsal... a little drizzle won't stop us, but we've got *heaps* to do - so we may either make it the Sunday instead or something... just after the rainy day yesterday it has got me a tad worried... anyway, see you Saturday!

love Bec

Posted:And the Rain Came....

But we're not going to let that from stopping a brilliant show from happening!!! So we're going to give it another try today from 4pm to 6pm. Hope you can make it!

Did anyone see the most beautiful gorgeous rainbow just after we left? And then the Sun came out! GGRRRRRRrrrrrr! Bloody Wheather! So thanks guys for sticking it out through the drizzle. Pitty the rain clouds wouldn't have it and decided to rain harder!

Also on Thursday at Roma St Parklands the Brisdjembe Drummers will be running through the Rhythms and music for the performance so if you can make it along then for abit of a run through, it'd be SO wonderful!

See you this Arvo!
