bender!
and lots more!

listen not to wormy ickle man regarding sad moneygrubbing issues. If he were truly supportive of all new ventures, he'd tell his damn jugglejerk clan, that fire was happening after the class? i'm looking for a clash in times here, and oh? whats this? fire goes for two hours afterwards??

please, pay no attention to the obvious small minded and pitifulness of JuggleJerk, his request that we change days or times is only rooted in his fear that all his glee jugglers shall run off and poi into the wee hours of the morning...

if they love to juggle, they will juggle. We do not offer juggling teaching, indeed no! that is what his class is for! we merely offer a fire spinning socialising event, that just happens to coincide with his class for an hour.

if we can still advertise at juggleart, props to them, they are usually most supportive of any new firey ventures that start up..... and besides. is this even a new venture? or a continuation of last years summer fwirling....

i cannot see any cause for complaint, other than money issues.... and if he's really that hard up, why doesnt he hold a second class? *shrug*

Currently on the right side up of the world.

GRRrrrrrrrargh!! sorry you have to deal with this crap bender!
Maybe if he did some "research", he'd realise that you/we are nice people, and have absolutely zero intention on stealing his 'customers' or his money. He'd also find that you, too, are an approachable person, and as such should be treated with the respect that all people deserve! not merely an emotionless/feelingless email address to which he can to send abusive words!!

i guess all we can do is keep smiling eh..

Thats really awful Bender! What a complete and utter arsehole. You't think they would be supportive of your venture - after all, you are promoting this kind of culture and that could only mean an increase of business for them in the long run anyways! Some people get tunnel vision don't they?

Sounds like someone needs a life...and Bender needs hugs!! Perhaps we should point out that many people found out about jugglejam from us in the first place!? I don't think there's any point in getting upset over someone who clearly needs to kick someone's arse to feel better about himself. Sorry it was your arse Bender! Your emails were very well written by the way and more than reasonable. There are plenty of places to advertise other than juggleart anyways. I hear not many twirlers go there anymore because it's too crowded.
Anyroad,Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow night! Just please remember we're in a residential area so please be respectful.XXOO

Big big ies to everyone!! Last night was sooo much fun. Thanks to everybody for creating such a cool gathering. I'm kinda thinking of maybe a monthly weekend gathering where we can camp and twirl and just have lotsa fun in the trees. Whatcha all think? Could do the Dandenongs, the peninsula, Mt.Macedon etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Also re; Solar Eclipse Festival- Could anyone whose going and would like to join our convoy please email me asap, if I haven't already spoken to you about it? We have a meeting on 24th November,to organise transport for everyone, and I would hate for anyone to miss out on this event because they couldn't get a lift!

tjoni, there's a forum at the outback eclipse website where you might wanna post this, if you're comfortable with posting the Nov 24 organising meet there.
There are more and more attendees coming out of the woodwork as time goes by!

Hi people,

I am very new to twirling and need some help. I only started playing with poi about 2 & 1/2 weeks ago now. I have got hold of some basic moves, but am finding it hard to learn from written instructions (HOP lessons). I think the meetups would be fantastic, but I live outside of melb, which makes it hard for me to get to. I live south of Melbourne (near phillip island). Does anyone else live down this way?

So much fire, so little body hair...

Two Former porks tomorrow, one the day after, and then thats it! NO MORE

My friday is filled with piercings, burning of books/uniforms, drinking, saturday consists of some much needed formal shopping, and a party, sunday consists of sleeping in a great deal and some cleaning, monday consists of going to the doctor and THEN, I swear, I will have the rest of the week off. So Yes, I'm coming on friday! (given I have the money for a taxi )

ok guys, in an effort to get the sunday spin sessions started asap, im going to be doing up some flyers! Juggleart (leonie in particular) have expressed an interest in having a bunch to hand out/ give away, and as with wednesdays, it will be open to all circus/fire arts!

Just need to decide on whereabouts on the beach, or grass area we want to be, and a time, Bender, i'll be in contact regarding that....

Cheers all, will let you know when its up and running! xoxoxoxox

Thanks Flint! Glad to see not everyone's as unorganised as myself! In my humble opinion, I think the beach would be nice, near the St Kilda Pier, but anyone's input would be appreciated! And do we want late arvo foods/drinks/practise, like, at about 5pm? Or does everyone just want to burn stuff amd things at night? The more input we get the more we can satisfy everyone's need for all things bright and beautiful and flamable...XXOO

YIPEE!!
Sunday sessions at St Kilda sounds incredibly attractive. Twirling at the water's edge seems like a better idea than on the greens. the only problem i can think of is windiness. starting early at 5pm-ish sounds good too!!
See u guys in a few weeks. I'm leaving for Byron with my classmates tomorrow!!
