ello to all sheffield poi and fire spinners out there, as i can see there are quite a few that use the bulletin board here! recent talks with several poi'ers that i know, we would like to meet up on sunday 30th december @ endcliffe park (ecclesall road)for an afternoon/evening of poi and fire frolics in the park to celebrate the festive seasons and see out the year before the mad new year parties where ever you may be going! basically just to have fun, meet other ppl that are unfortunate not to frequent headcharge or planet zogg and so we can all learn some new moves etc...so what do you all think? can you make it? post you replies here and i will put up more details..
thank funk for poi!

c@ntus - i've not spoken to lolli but as she's apparently putting someone up for the night i assume she'll be at pip.
btw, sorry about disappearing from messenger yesterday - all of a sudden everyone stormed the room for various reasons and in the confusion niall annexed the computer (and the irish pretend to be neutral in matters of war )

Say for example....

If I could go to PIP, but needed a place to crash for the night, because I have to get up *early* and go to the airport the next day...

Is there any PIP person that could possibly put me up for a quiet place to crash, and the ability to get to the coach station by 7am (ie close to a bus stop that could get me into the city)...

Coz that way I wont miss out all those those lovely poi people I haven't met yet

Onedizzybird - Pink Pom Pom's! how cool!

I might be bringing anouther friend with me, but he wont be staying up in Sheffield, he's a bit mad and wants to drive home afterwards (home being Maidstone Kent!) Just depends on when he's being sent off to Iraq (he's a soldier).

misstix - that would be fantastic!

kat - there's a good chance you'd be able to sweet talk niall into sleeping in his bed at the top of the house (did you meet him when you stayed here last year? the irish guy that isn't allowed to use drills any more). i doubt he'll be using it and it's surprisingly quiet up there. normally. i'll try and remember to ask him.
but like dizzy says - stay up all night and pass out on the plane. that must be the best option.

excuse me, Mr Gap

is that open offer of sleeping space still, um, open.

see, if jez leaves me in the flat on my own then he has to hide all the sharp things and make sure that the neighbours are going to come round and read me my bedtime story, and i'd really rather save him the trouble.

I think it would be good if we did the cake thing again!

Sos everyone bring some cake or cookies or snacks for you and to share! This also helps as people will have to get rid of them and then we can all have nice stuff to munch on as well!

Ok not a requisite but its fun! I'll be bringing something!

Nobody will sit there being quiet and not speak - I'll make sure of it. I make it my mission to chat to anyone who looks lost - that way I can make even complete strangers wish for me to shut up - as well as tose people I know already

wahoooooooo!!!!

But we still have a boring weekend to get through first

come to think of it?

are you 6'5ish,
little hippy looking furr on top?
live next to the frog?
wave a big stick around like a troll?
take money of small children who want to cross the stepping stones?
yells randomly at normal people?
have minimal interest in full time education or employment?
like to take copious amounts of illegal substances?
throws good parties?
live with a bunch of nutters?

if you qualify to all the above! you must be him !

thats an awful time of arrival mark, you could allways pull a sicky afterall work isnt all that important is it! works work, when it comes to fire toys work is second best by a far cry.

we could allways send a fragle virus to your boss so he decides to let every one have the day off to play with the fragles, the fairys and the pink ones.
