Posted: Zurich Insurance (I think!) do Performering Arts Public Liability scheme. Basically covers you up to £2 mill for fire performances (£5 mill otherwise).Cost is £50 and it runs on an annual cycle from 2nd September. So join now and it ends on 2/9/02 but still costs £50. Weird I know.Anyway, broker company who knows about it is called Dickson Charmers (company name). Phone for details: 01952 641321. Address: 32 Haygate Road, Wellington, Telford, Shropshire, TS1 12THave a good party!Dom

Posted: Are you sure thats right? £50 per year for £2 mill fire indemnity?I asked three local insurance firms to see if they could find fire coverage for me and the cheapest any of them could get was a grand per year - AAAARRRGGH!!Im now with Torribles of Bristol who do specialist performers insurance and widely used by entertainers etc...Theyre a bit more expensive at £130 per year for 2 million indemnity but they are good and widely recognised by local authorities as they usually insist on 2 million minimum coverage and a reputable firm plus proof(most of my bookings are for people like that). Please can you post a mess. if it is the 2 mill. fire for £50. If I can get it cheaper then it might be worth looking into as im a poor penniless student.Cheers Gruff
