Posted: The pertinent details regarding poi workshops three members of The Cabiri will be teaching for the rest of the summer are:DATE/DAY:Monday nights from now (July) through SeptemberTIME: 7:30-9:00pmVENUE: workshops meet in Fremont, just North of downtown SeattleDETAILS: Learn the art of chain spinning (poi) from The Cabiri. We have been twirling for over three years, and have taught workshops at various festivals and events.Our weekly class will give beginners and intermediate students lots to learn and work on. We will teach a choreography to be performed with fire in Seattle this fall. (Yes, we hold an annual open flame permit from the Fire Department) We ask a $10 donation per person per workshop, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
