Ach names, names....
Everyone calls stuff different anyway, I'm trying to make a list myself but it's not according to the hop names. Loads of people make up different names for there tricks, it's just what works for you. There is an official list on hop somewhere.
This is the list I've made myself.... Mots Poi List

imho names should be distinct so as to not be confused with any other move, whatsoever.

secondly i reckon if a move is a variation of one of the 'foundation' movements, then it should be identified as a variation, and not some idosyncratic nickname.

that's all i prefer, really: distinct and accurate.
i'd prefer a longer totally accurate name over an inexplicable soundbyte. The diversity of tiwrlage moves is just too great.

i like to call things by names i feel some how fit the move, im not so much a fan of the more geekier names, like isolations or hyperloops, i prefer to call isolations illusions, and hyperloops tangles,
although i appreacite this just adds to the confusion, but i like confusion
and names arnt really important anyway...

Personally, I prefer to call isolations "F***ing hard"

My state of mind is not yours to define!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

I thought isolations were one of the coolest looking things ever.. then I actually got heavily into the airwrap family.. and some stuff like doing 3+moves before untangling lookjs just as cool..

now I guess its a matter of learning to isolate all the airwrap stuff..
