Posted: Right, so, standard BTB waistwrap poi go "up" on the left side, once round behind and "down" on the right side...
Going round the other way, poi go up on the right side, once round behind the back and downwards on the left side.
Switching between the two by turning the body 180 degrees leaves you with the wring hand leading. I've tried putting in an extra beat on the turn (with the result of clobbering myself a few times) but as yet have not had anything drop out smoothly.
Any suggestions?

Posted: I'm not sure how you get the wrong hand leading... I know seperations with BTB dont' work like they do up front.. because after your seperation you have to let it twist up one beat before switching... and when doing waist wraps with seperations I can do a vertical on the left.. horizontal in the rear.. vertical on the right.. when I want to turn, I have to do a vertical left, horizontal rear, 180, horizontal rear, vertical right..
seperations are the only time I run into problems though.. you shouldn't have any discrpencies with just a ww because you are essentially doing a 3 point weave in the wall plane...
can you do a 180 turn with the BTB weave? (i.e. forward weave to rev or vice-versus)
because that's all you need to do.. so the best advice I could give would be to compare your 180 weave turn to the ww and see what you are doing different...
