HI ppl new here and been practiceing poi for a couple of months and wish to know how many beats are possible in the behind the back weave??

There are as many beats as you can make, either being flexible, or wrapping the chains. I've only ever seen 5bts done without wraps.

I do 7... sometimes they wrap,sometimes they don't... I just shortened my strings,so I don't have as much room to work with and have to wrap them more often...

7 beats BTB without wraps. Id like to see that one.

not really I find its easier (for me at least.. to keep twisting my arms up.. mainly my writst.. and it just takes a reach of the wrists around each other and between a quarter and a half extra twist in your arms.. depending on your flexibility...

a bit diffcult with those nasty strap handles.. I use half a glowstick for handles, because I find normal glowsticks are too long..

many thanx ppl when i have time i will search the old post's. I will stick to 5 beats for now as thats all i can do infront of me! and now i know it's possible i will keep trying!!!.
