whilst ruining my planes the other day i did two airwraps in a wrow, but the second one was... wrong.

it moves from inside to out(wall plane) and looks very silly but very nice. ross is constantly doing them .

this was in the wallplane so the the circle was in front of you... then the poi did an air wrap from the inside (near you) to the outside (away from you)... that much I caught... now you say you did 2 airwraps back to back? my only question is this: did the air wraps both go the same direction... as in did it go from near you to away from you, both times.. because that what comes to mind when I think 2 airwraps back to back.. also what happens when I do 2 airwraps back to back (which by thw way is a lot of fun.. and can be done from the corkscrew with no problems or "speeding up" but that's referencing an older topic)... or were you referring to doing a double airwrap, where the poi went from near you to away from you back to near you? Because that is a bit harder to make it jump so that it ends one airwrpa by immediately starting a reverse wrap... Basically an airwrap equivelent to a hyperloop that goes for right to left to right, only up front in the wall plane...

or was it something not lsited above?

rev - what's a reverse airwrap?

bluecat - shouldn't this be in the 'i just learned a move thread'?
unless you were gonna post some kind of non-cryptic description later...

eerm. i don't know.

near to far, then circle, then far to near.

but not continuous. thats more fun and harder

i mean you can repeat, near, far, circle, far, near, circle, near far, circle, ad nauseam.)

ta for handy hint cole. but i'm going for cryptic

1)reverse air wrap meaning an air wrap that goes in the opposite direction.. i.e. if I am doing a forward weave.. the air wrap on my right side should be going in one direction (right to left kinda like a hyperloop yeah) well what if on the right side you then do a airwrap that causes it to go left to right on the right side.. I didn't mean it as a new move, I meant it as a way to decribe the difference in direction...

2) bluecat.. near, far, circle, far, near circle?

I can do far near circle, far near circle.. and near far circle near far circle.. but the only way that I can get it to change directions is to get it to do that little jump that I do with my hyperloops.. ( I can't really describe that well suffice to say that if you do a hyperloop left to right to left without unhyperlooping until you get back to the left side) I can do that up front with a circle but it makes it goe near far near circle near far near circle.. or far near far circle far near far circle..

how are you getting it to change the direction of the circle when you come out of the air wrap, since (unless you've unlocked some secret of physics in which case video damnit...) you can't change the airwrap direction without changin the direction of the poi.. i.e. the poi coming in from the top and the poi comingin from the bottom will alway cause an airwrap in the same direction.. in order to change the diection you have to swtich which poi is coming down and which comes up...

awaits the poi physics lesson...

Now I get it! near to far then circle then far to near. That makes prefect sense! And I wonder why I didn't get it before

i the circle after far to near inverted (inside) or is it the same as the circle after near to far.

hard to understand when you're sitting at a desk after my longest ever week no-po period...

by inside/inverted i mean that it happens between your hands and your body. the wrap moves it to outside. then the poi do a beat, then a normal airwrap gets the heads inside again, then 1 beat, then inside wrap again, and soonandsoforth.

I am such and idiot.. I was sityting at school today.. falling asleep.. when it suddenly clicked... DUH... by chainging my arm position slightly I could cause it to do far near circle near far circle... I was thinking all closed minded hyperloop like previosuly.. forgive me..
