"if glass does the inverted buzzsaw thing please kick his a$$ for me"

NYC wrote this a little while back and after searching the site i still can't find any mention of what it actually is...

from what i did find, the buzzsaw is another name for burn the nose (names, names, names and more names). if this is so, what does it mean to 'invert' it?

and while i'm pestering you all for info, is there a popular name for doing btn on the horizontal plane (so you can spin around with it)?

i believe the snakes in question are club swinging moves.

i just got clubs and hence am *way* off doing snakes but i'm sure stone or someone similarly skilled could explain.
a snake kind of consists of keeping the club in contact with your forearm and sort of winding round and round the tip of the club/your elbow.

if that makes it any clearer you must have some kind of telepathy - note the 'kind of' and 'sort of' statements negating all of my description.

Psych in answer to you're other question:
to quote myself, (can I do that??)

quote:
the longest I have on video is only 37 beats.
admittedly, the first 5 beats are a bit crummy, but then it settles down sweet.

are isolations possible to sustain without burning yourself (and not using gel or gloves)?

thought of a nice little example the other day for explaining isolations.
so you've been to the supermarket and you've got a carrier bag in each hand.
they've got a few tin cans in each and you're walking down the street back home.
if you swing your hands back and forth nice and fast, the middle of the carrier bag will become 'isolated'.
that is, your hand will be moving back and forth and the bottom of the bag will make a similar motion in the other direction.

code:

-------> your hand moves forward,
\ /
\ /
X middle of the bag stays still
/ \
/ \
<------- bottom of the bag moves back in the opp direction to your hand.
this is an isolation. do it with poi 180 degrees apart, in a complete circle and you're sorted.

[edit: damn. that little diagram would actually help if this bb didn't delete mutiple spaces...
sorted. top man paddy - cheers ]

hey coleman,
for diagrams like that you can use the "code" tags. Anything within the tags do not get multiple spaces deleted, and code uses a font for which all characters have the same width, like the font we actually write posts in.

Check out this shamelessly self-promotional example...

code:
XXXX XX XXX XXX X X
XXXX XXXX X X X X X
X X X XXX XXX X
