I hunted around but couldn't find anything on this one so I figured I'd post it for those who would like to know.
It's possible to extend your Thread The Needle by a beat on each side, effectively making it into a 4-beat, or Double TTN.
To start, the TTN video here on HoP shows the spinner with one arm extending out over the top of the other in sequence. Instead of extending your top arm, loop the hand over the other arm (feels the same way a 5-beat weave does) and extend it right after the poi pass each other at the top of the swing. Be sure to keep both poi spinning in same-time! This differs from the regular TTN in that, in the original, the poi cross at the bottom of the swing. It's a little tricky to get but once you pull it off it's really pretty
