Ok, so i know at teh very least it's possible to do a butterfly between your arms in reverse. that's my starting point. i'm not sure if it's possible fwds or not (something about teh way ur wrists move...) i just don't haev the ability to do it right now.

so, ur doing a rev butterfly between ur arms. now, what i want to do it be able to pop it out into a fwds butterfly in front of my arms, and then pop it back between my arms. all w/o hitting myself. I just havn't convinced myself that that is possible yet for a human bodyunless mebbe you have to try and flip the butterfly under? or... i dunno... so i'm looking for advice befroe i thouroughly confuse myself...

Sounds possible. Just go grab your poi and try it! Go slow to lessen the chance of a broken nose.

ohh,
do you mean between your arms and your body in the wall plane. (a good if slightly awkward idea)
yes its possible.
advice: practice and go slow, shorter poi

Or do you mean between your arms in front to back plane. (like an opposite direction burn the nose or buzz saw)
yes its possible.
advice: practice and go slow shorter poi.

And if there a fwds, reverse is always possible

actually, i was taught you couldn't flip to behind teh head butterfly from reverse butterfly, but instead you had to go behind your shoulders... but you can go bth with fwds butterfly... was that random?

ok, i can turn it veyr slowly inside and out around the bottom if i always leave my hands crossed. and some of the problems are just teh quality of my bta (between teh arms, i just made a new dumb acronym, what a dork am i) butterfly...

that's easier than what i was trying to do before but not as satisfying.

btw to make said butterfly less awkward w/o choking up on ur chains totally insanely, (which is always an option) bending over helps. it's still between ur arms and in fact comes out pretty near your face, but there's more room at the bottom then. (new discovery for this morning. makes life easier )

oh well, i'll keep trying

Freaky! But if I post this, it'll destroy the palindromes! Sorry!

Sack your teacher, now! Almost everything is possible. I find reverse butterfly to BTH & BTB easier than forward, but I'm a mutant. Last night it took me 1 minute to work out reverse butterfly to BTH thread the needle butterfly, much to Carrey's annoyance. Yippee! At last I work something out quicker than Carrey!! Haha!! Party at my place!

lol, y'know, it would be impossible to "sack my teacher" as my teacher has infinite names and faces.... but yes, i will refrain from listening to "that's impossibles" in the future...

i'll let you guys know if this ever turns out good.
