I think this whole art would be WAY cooler if we renamed everything after scateboarding terms.Think, which sounds cooler:I was doing a weave, then busted out a windmill, then quick switched into a reverse weave.ORI was doing a Kickflip McTwist, then busted into a Fingerflip Airwave, then quick switched into a 360 Shove-It Rewind.You KNOW I'm right smileThen we could just switch into a Tony Hawk system of points scoring! (Laughing as I'm thinking of the next "Circles of Light" video with actual digital points values popping up for each trick...)

dont laugh NYC - I was thinking of doing this for some instructional vids I'm considering doing...not the scoring, but a read out which displays current move/combo on it...means the instructional video could be continuous movement, rather than breaking it all down and taking it out of context (ala, learning the moves, but not the dance).Josh

Question: When doing the foutain, do you sort of turn to the sides when doing the chase parts or do you turn the plane of the poi and stay facing forward? I learned the former under the name of "the lunge", and the latter seems rather a lot harder.

In the meantime:
Originally a Fountain was: 10 little circles, 12 beats with NONE behind the head (no windmill).

So who accidently added a windmill and why? (clue: look for someone who has been around HOP a long time)

Fountain family: lots of moves
Lots of varents, to start with
add in windmill
add a watermill,
can run the big circle/great circle in the other direction !!!

in order
1, then 2, 3, 4, 5,6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and finally 12 in that order.

Watermill if a windmill above your head is powered by wind,
then a watermill is. well try taking a leak while your spinning. between the legs wall plane 2 beat weave (like and inverted windmill of course.

Oh and as for lower and upper fountain, I never use the expressions my self. got a good idea, but I'm not sure. I'd go with whatever old clubswinging books say
