This space is for all those funksters busy improving their technique by learning new moves - made-up or traditional.

Tell us all about it! We love hearing about our fellow poiers/staffies/misc. toyers succeeding with new things biggrin

It's just hard to keep up with it all sometimes, so if we keep it together you'll be certain to get a little feedback.

here a pat on the back in advance from me

erm non-spinny stuff;

3-clubs

-backcrosses left side only
-that trick where you drop one club over your shoulder and catch it at your hip while juggling two in the other hand.
-chops, but I cant get em continuous yet (this trick is driving me mad)...

flashed 6 balls (ie six throws six catches).

spinny stuff

-clubs - bfly BTB WW double throw (ala Rubensteins revenge) to follow time BTB WW double throw on the other side. all catches btb.

-staff - basic contact stuff eg steve, and some arm-shoulder-neck-shoulder-arm marlarkey.

Josh (who should be studying for exams)

This weekend got ttn- forward + reverse, 5bt forward spot on (I swear it's easier than 3bt) hehe
Last night was trying btb 3bt's but just end up with painful legs confused

So much to learn!

O M G!

At last

It has arrived....shouts to Oli for making me realise my socks were way to light I have increased and can now isolate!! And not only that.....I've also managed to isolate hyperloops!! WHOOT WHOOOOOOOOOT bounce

You should have seen the smile on my face last night!! It was like this biggrin crossed with this ubbloco on acid. Oh no hang on that was Glasto wink
I also isolated butterfly in and out of time infront and BTB but not very well.

And I don't think I've posted this before so....normal weave then release left and in right for one handed butterfly (can also be thrown under the leg) And, one handed forwards butterfly, release the lowest in my hand, quickly wrap the other on my thigh and then catch the first back in the same hand to go into reverse one handed butterfly

glastonbury was definately a place for learning (ahem... and stealing) moves! thanks to oli for airwrap wristwraps among other ideas, mike for horizontal hyperloop ideas (i'm still working on the juggling stalls variations), a random guy for explaining 531 to me and at some point oli kev and i had fun playing with a mixed bag of under the leg wirst, arm and leg wraps. Garthy, i'm still trying to sort out my exits for the plane changing hyperloops though. wink

i've probably learn't some other stuff at since i last posted on this thread (like contact ball butterflies) but can't remember what... wink
