well, after working on sync outside fountain for ages and becoming disillusioned with any other way of juggling 6 balls i managed 11 catches of 6 balls async fountain and 10 catches of sync wimpy last night.

i think dom saw me having a go but he doesn't normally care about what the jugglers are doing (especially following a week in carvin) so don't expect any witnesses wink

also ran bth tennis for about 4 tennis catches.

well on my way to the 423 variation i stole from matt hall.

my new game of late is 'run the 4 ball pattern'.
boring to juggle and even worse to watch but hopefully has benefits that will start to show soon... umm

problem tricks are still: mills, 633, (6x,4) and (4x,6) stuff, 7531 and 75314, and 4up pirouettes.

kick flips and heel flips with a stick. they work horizontal and vertical. the idea is to kick the staff, have it spin 360 under you, and catch with the other foot. kick flips come off the toe and spin in front, heel flips are insane and spin behind you. vertical heel flips are more insane...
you can even catch with the same foot.
can now do 7 of the 12 variations that ought to be possible.

Fun with waistwraps:
btb waistwrap where the carry is shifted to a 5bt transition rather than the normal 3bt transition, but still does the same number of beats in total.
btb waitwrap where the non-carry btb part is in between the arms and the body.
waistwrap where one poi is in front and the other is btb, and then the first goes btb and the other in front.
btb waistwrap with a beat of btb crosser on either end.
btb waistwrap where you turn 180 degrees during the carry (also works with longarm carries (only one arm, though))
btb waistwrap where you turn 180 just after the carry, so the other hand leads into the next carry.

Fun with fishtails:
wall plane, right hand, reverse half fishtail on the right side (from back to front), then forwards on the left (from front to back), and repeat. Without turning round.

Antispin stuff - same direction TTN, a/s TTN (well one type anyway) and working on inside TTNs.

Crossed butterfly inversions just about. Much more work needed to keep the planes smooth!

then a bit later a really nice one handed 3bt weave (or maybe a 2bt, not sure how it goes with just one hand) anyways, both poi were stretched out like a staff so i figure i was doing it correctly smile

My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely smile

Throwing over the head from a behind the back reverse weave, wrapping off the ankle with the not thrown poi, then catching the throw straight into forwards behing the back weave.

Now all i need is to learn it forwards to backwards and I have a continuous trick!

hey cole, is this what you meant by "full" in your WW thread?

still haven't found schatz for you - my living space (and hence all my belongings) is in a state of major transition right now so it may be a week before i manage to locate it...

that it does... trying to do one where all the btb bits are insided. in fact, trying to do one that dosn't go outside first before going inside (which is hard because how do you tell if the first beat is inside before the other arm is in place to show that it is...)

but it does make things like btb watermill with turning suddenly seem easy...
not to mention a btb weave where both planes are pointing out, but the crossed over beats are inside and the non crossed ones are outside, which leads on to a btb weave where eveything is inside and the planes are facing each other. which i can't do, but ought to be possible because i can do it in front. the transitions look like the crossed arm buzzsaw transitions but happen to the sides rather than in front, and instead of transitioning you can make it undo into a normal outside weave on the same side, the same way you can make a crossed arm buzzsaw come out in a normal buzzsaw by screwing with the timing so you miss the airwraped bit.
which is all rather rambley, due to cider. ubbloco

oh yeah, and 3bt airwraps. that is, a 3bt hyperloop thing that come out with your arms crossed on the inside plane, just with no momentum left so they kind of stall. possibly work better on non stretchy poi.
oh, and a 5bt watermill. which probably isn't, in the same way a 5bt windmill isn't. but i can't stop it going all corkscrewy after once through so i could count it properly. 4bt watermill works nice, though.

hey maybe we should cut and paste this juicy stuff to cole's thread, huh? i think it'd spur more conversation there...

something to remember is that going from clocwise btb front right wall plane to btb inside is basically NOT crossing over at all, just moving your hands. so there'd have to be a crossover somewhere to unwind your hands again... argh too many variations to explain! gotta go!

slowly getting hold of 615...

can now do (4)55613(4) from both sides.
managed to catch (4)5 561561 3(4) twice (starting on the right) which i'll be extending to (4)55 615615 613(4) as soon as possible.

633 is still killing me but i get 633633 most times now.

4b mills is thinking about being neat and tidy but ball number 2 on each side keeps deciding to hit the others.

10 catches of the sketchiest inverse 5b cascade in the world.

and i'm writing a 3b routine that i can't do umm
