It's just hard to keep up with it all sometimes, so if we keep it together you'll be certain to get a little feedback.

Y'know... seriously... can't y'all put this in the 'Other Toys' section...

I got all excited cuz I saw that Bluecat was the last post in "I learned a new move" of the POI MOVES section and I was all like....

"Ohhhh Shizzle, this one's gonna be good." biggrin

But then... Bam. Nothing. frown

Thread Hijack, inappropriate placement, there's NO way juggling belongs HERE. At least put it in staff. Most people throw their staves at least where as MOST don't throw their poi. Most. I said most. I didn't say all. Read it again. Most. I know. You can throw poi. I saw Glass doing 3 poi at EJC. You win. OK. Go away now. tongue

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

haha... we've got ucof and bams now! juggling is taking over.... juggle

while i've been on holiday i've cleaned up most of my basics, got a better 531, can just about do 456123456 (sometimes) have got more consistent with 5 balls although still haven't got 50 bloody catches but i get over 20 a lot... and i've been practicing 3 in one hand on both sides in an attempt to get more than a 6 ball flash. it's gonna take a while though! umm

seeing as i haven't posted in this thread for a while, over the summer i've also learnt some nice contact doubles from ben-j-men, biggrin been playing with contact poi (although am still workin on consistency) and learnt to plate spin thanks to lolli. smile there's lots of other stuff i've learn't as well but can't remember. thanks to coleman, dsads and uber seal for all the juggling tips + anyone else that i've been jammin with for the inspiration... hug to y'all!

*walks up to collect award for the most long winded new moves post of the week* rolleyes

edit: i've just read what blue cat and cole have been up to. i'm so gonna have to make it to brizzol now...

I'll second that! We all need to get consistant with contact, as do we all need to come to the Brizzzle!

Vertical propellors still causing much frustration, but got 7-8 rotations now before a) it hits me in the face/head/stomach/leg/boob, b) it flies across the park c) it crashes into the ground, forcefully showing me that's where it truly belongs. B*stard.

there's nothing quite as fulfilling as a tasty airwrap

Airwraps... I can do them almost.

They've been eluding me for far too long.

***Garth gets up and sees how many he can do in a row***

Seven.....

Someone told me once that you couldn't do a move until you could do it 40 times in a row....

I can't spin poi........

40 times? That'd be weave then wouldn't it? And... umm... ubblol

And while I'm here the last things I learnt were things I really should've been able to do years ago - horizontal buzzsaw and that little mini horizontal corkscrew thing. Does it have a name? And can you do it in the normal buzzsaw plane? Oh, and almost got horizontal buzzsaw weave.

Well after figuring out that that sideways corkscrew thing turned into the wall plane is the watermill, I can now do that. Rah!

Also got inside->outside airwraps down to the point where they (mostly) work smile

Hmm, I seem to be the only person posting here...!

Inverted butterflies, isolated watermill, higher beat watermills (3 beats ok, 4 beats not so good), airwrap entries and exits into watermill. I'm sure there's got to be some kind of inverted TTN as well.

Did an intersting throw from an isolated buzzsaw, throw between the legs and it kinda falls over your shoulder back into your hand to continue the buzzsaw!

I was so happy when I got reverse isolated weave much better than normal after a bit of a smoke.

Then as happened with you it didn't work the next day.
