Posted: Sorry about posting this... I feel a bit foolish but I've just got to know, as I do the moves but practically have no idea what most of them are called.. but what are wraps? And, how are they done? I'm pretty sure I haven't got up to it yet, and I've tried searching the archives for stuff on it, but can't find anything other than references. I'd really appreciate it if someone could enlighten me =) Thanx!

Posted: a wrap is when you allow the poi to wrap itself around something like your arm, leg, neck or torso, and then using momentum of either unwinding it with circular movements or else turning your body you can get the poi to unwrap at which point it is traveling in the opposite direction from how it started. in some cases if you dont wrap it too completely its sort of like getting the poi string/chain to bounce off you. sometimes the actual wick will wrap around enough to contact your body and bounce off, sometimes they wont, it depends on how long your strings/chains are and how much you allow it to wrap around yourself. you can do one at a time or both at once and the end result is a change in direction. and now i will let the people who do wraps better than me take over Peregrine

Posted: Thanks heaps both of you =) Pele: yes, I did use the search, and got over 140 possible answers; started checking them from the front (which I assumed would have the best response to "wrap". unfortunately, it did not =/) Thank you for the links tho =) I am checking them out even as I type..
