awww lil bundle of joy has enetered my life altho im am confuzzled for a name? "he" is a lil grey cutie wit blue eyes, and he's bout 7 inches big, but need opinions for a name? any ideas wud be welcomed, ill let u know wat i call him... thanx everyone xxx

how about something more poetic, like 'the gray nomad' , or 'storm', or something silly like 'dangercat'?

i like bob too! i used to call a friend of mine bob. her name was emily. don't ask. i still can't remember how it started!!
but don't call it binx. i've known a few cats called binx. i think they all died/disappeared in myterious ways!!

HEY TIS ME! the boy wit the lil kitty, well sadly we are still going over all the ideas, lol, tho it is not only me who decides the name of the cat, it is the family, tho i am greatly tryin to convince them to call it dave, tho they're failing to see the logic there but i think its great!!! lol likewise bob, classic! hmmmm my Dad likes the name hulk altho my mum wants a "proper" name UH OH! lol the other names we have particularly liked r Kung Lao, lol takin on the kung fu kitty idea someone had, lol (seen cats and dogs too many times) also Ciro, lol apparently a prince we thought it was cool, but thanx for everyones help:hug:! we're still pushing for bob, but still need ideas so keep um coming thanx . I am also currently in the process of gettin pics i shud have them by next monday so watch this space!!

ok, we've gained landlord permission and it doesn't look like we're moving house for a few years at least now, so I'm getting a kitten!
I am very excited but it all feels like a crazy dream at the moment! We've been spring cleaning the house and making it as accident-proof as possible. I've had animals all my life apart from the past few years, it's going to be so good to have a little furry companion about the house again!
So I'm looking for name suggestions, plus any other advice you'd like to throw my way. It's early days yet so descriptions of the kitten are not possible yet (in fact it's completely the wrong time of year to be looking for a kitten, but I'm living off the anticipation right now so talking about it and thinking about it helps me get through boring days at the office!)

get an enzymatic cleaner so if kitty has accidents, it won't smell them and keep using the spot. there are some natural ones out there...
i heard when you bring home the kitten you should set it in the litter box, so they can claim it and know where it is
toys, lots of jingly toys
just because it is a popular name brand does not mean it's healthy, look for whole ingredients not bone or meat meal
get a name tag and collar just in case or microchip it...if you collar it make sure it is either a stretchy one or one with a emergency give, in case it gets stuck on something...they can get their head out and avoid a tragic painful end

sometimes they have kitty kits at the pet supply store so that you don't have to worry, and then, you can add or remove from the base kit
(ahh the days of working at a pet store)

then we found it was bob short for bob
