I am a tiny bit upset...my doctor has just told me that if I am going to try to help stop my stupid lungs giving me asthma attacks I may have to give up fire twirling.

Does anyone know of ways that I can help my asthma (which is quite chronic and my medication seems not to be working at the moment)...and still keep on twirling?

So far the doctors have made me give up netball, basketball, skating, horse riding and badminton because it was "affected my lung capacity"?

I am starting to think that everytime I find something I enjoy it is going to be taken away from me because of my crappy health!

PLEASE!!!! any help would be greatly appreciated.

The gig is at a very small pub in Lynwood.

I will be wearing black jeans, a black top, dark make up and a top hat hehe...yes I know how weird that sounds but I will change my look every week (it is an ongoing gig)....so I have been experimenting to get new coloured flames and sparkles and such like that. I am also trying to get some new equipment so that I have a whole heap of variation from week to week.

Woo Hoo well done. Gnor runs around the room in excitement

What night so I can go sometimes and be a cheer squad and have beers after. If you need help with sewing give me a yell and we could muddle together.
Goodluck.

Not too bad last night. A fairly good turn out.

The wind was a bit strong though so mostly we just practised.

Not many people actually lit up.

I misspoke in my earlier post. The medication is "XOPENEX" (Zo-pen-ex), generic name: levalbuterol.

Once a week with fire is bit often, even for healthy lungs. I try to keep myself down to twice a month. And on strengthening your lungs, throatsinging works quite well.
