I've got a new job!
i've been doing a real boring job for months, minimum wage, the bosses treat me like dirt and some of my work "mates" took issue with me.
i had an interview this afternoon and the chap gave me a job! i will now be a handyman for a 4 shop "chain"! how cool.

i'm not going into my old job tomorrow, i'll ring in the morning and tell them i've quit. will they legally be able to withhold wages owed or do anything to me? i've never been given a contract and notice has never been mentioned.

just to recap, i'm dead chuffed

I only wanted to be 16... and free

wow.... all those lessons in Law really helped out aftera all!!!!

legqaly, if you have no contract, and have never had noticed mentioned, you are in no way breaching your stated regualtions.... as you've been given no notice of them. also legaly, contracts are supposed to be given to all employees within 3 weeks of their starting term.... even if its within this period...... you've signed nothing, so they cant do anything about it... apart from try and give you shit like "you havn't worked the whole week, no wages".. don't stand for it because they havnt got a leg to stand on.....

man.. i wish i had a new job........

Cool. Can you get kerosene cheap?

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.
