I'VE OFFICIALLY QUIT SMOKING!!!!!!!
I haven't had the desire for a cigarette in over a month and a half now. Haven't had any cravings in weeks. People offer and my roomie has packs laying all over the house but there is no feeling of temptation. Haha, bad habit I banish you to Hell! Now what will I do to look cool and socially acceptable in bars?!

Phew, went for a run, it had been some time and I can definetly feel how my lungs have cleared up substantially and it's way easier to draw deeper breaths while going.
I had the best sandwich today: croissant, chipotle mayo, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, bacon, turkey, avocado, provolone cheese: pure win!

Rents wont let me jam till I'm 18. They said its illegal to spin fire without parental supervision till your 18. only like three months but still... i am going to look into fire laws methinks...

We have one twice a month... I would LOVE to have spin jam twice a week.
Ascilith: you don't need to jam with fire... I also think your parents may not be right about that law (though it is within the realm of possibility)

Our jams never involve fire. It limits the spaces we can use too much and requires a whole layer of safety measures on top of the attention we'd want to spend on technique. Most jams I'm aware of (around these parts a "jam" is kept terminologically distinct from a "burn") are LED/practice toys only.

We have a good amount of space for our jams. All the LED/practice toys (as well as a DJ and drum circle) are inside, the entrance to the space we use is in a rather wide (and kinda long) alley that gets little use and that is where fire takes place.

(Incidentally, I grew up in Minneapolis near Lake of the Isles, and it warms my heart to know that there's a good spinning community there.)
