Yeah, just curious if anyone else is trying to do it. I thought a thread where we share our story hooks might be interesting. I'd love to see what other people are working on! Since I brought it up, here's mine I guess.
Love and Rockets in Las Vegas
The night fell like it always did, the slow fade of natural light that was beat into unconsciousness by the sudden flare of the brilliance of Vegas. The flares are of course literal, certainly the electric light was stable and established but it was also boring, so the Las Vegas Rocketry guild was kept busy shooting off fireworks, sparkers, and a variety of other things that require gunpowder. So far the week had claimed three Rocketry members and it was only Tuesday.
I'm not sure why you'd join the Rocketry Guild. There are so many other entertaining ways to die in this city.
As a woman I regretted meeting immediately pointed out, you could get crushed in the middle of a machine, for example.

Hah, fair enough. I'm honestly using it to try to kickstart some original stuff. Good luck with the exams!

Started writing a book, been at it for more than a month, and will still be at this time next year probably. Got a basic storyline worked out but it's incredibly hard to write. Think the first two pages has been rewritten about 15 times
