Ok, so the deal is, weekend meet, along the Wales/England border.

Dates: 29th Sept-1st October

Location: Court Farm Campsite , Llanthony, nr. Abergavenny for a minimal fee of £2 per person per night. 4 quid!! Two pubs within walking distance and a really old priory... Court farm have said they will cordon off half the campsite for camping and spinning, but no bonfires sorry!

All other information can be found on the wiki including a list of attendees definately and maybe, please add your name as soon as possible if you're coming because i need to let the campsite know!

Wiki is at borderpatrol.wikispaces.com. And contains also a space for arranging lifts. The nearest train station is Abergavenny and it's 15mins drive, so if you come by train at all, please put it on there, you WILL need a lift!

if anyone is coming by train, can you please please please let me know beforehand what time roughly you will arrive in abergavenny, because i am less than convinced that my phone will work!

Hope to see lots of you there!

URGENT

I know this was a while back, but there is a chance I lost my works mobile at the meet in Wales.

Did anyone see a Nokia 6230i anywhere in the field? PM me with any details please

no, pretty sure would have noticed a mobile lying on the field if there was, or someone wouldve picked it up. You could always try ringing the campsite people if someone handed it in, and also the pub might be worth a try? Im sure one of us wouldve noticed if its on the field as i pretty much scoured the ground for every tiny bit of rubbish before i left... hope it turns up...

Hmmmm

Interesting- thanks guys.

I didn't carry it about with me as it is my work phone and not my phone, which i always keep with me.

I just happened to have my work phone there (I think) as its almost always in my car and I might have moved it when lugging stuff and people about over the weekend.

I'll try the campsite smile

Guys and Girls and of course sym who is niether.... Welsh/English border meet this year is in wales i am currenly making enquires about a location near cirencester called abbey home farm which is a oragnic farm. This year is slightly differant if we get the location and it looks good just need the price if they ever answer there phone.

They have somthing called yurts which are a bit like eco-lodges and look very very cool hopefuly they wont cost much between the amount of us that are going. The yurt camp comftably sleeps 18 people with a larger one if it rains.

Full details can be found here

https://www.theorganicfarmshop.co.uk/produce.htm

it looks like a smashing place for us to go. Unfortuantly its no dogs but its a huge place so. The only problem i can see they might bring up is there insurance.

I will ring them back later and hopefuly get a price this time i shall try and get it as cheap as possible.

Any questions dont be afraid to pm me or ask here i dont bite hard!!!
