TICKETS UPDATE 11th April 2006

==============================

TICKETS ARE NOW ONSALE!! bounce You can follow this link to the online Shop to make your purchase. If you buy a ticket with the forthcoming DVD you will get a £3 discount. Please note that the price of £25 will only be valid until the 13th June

Finally, we have a venue for play biggrin

Thanks for being so patient, the location for PLAY is now confirmed as being at Fordhall Farm, Market Drayton, Shropshire. TF9 3PS

The gates will be open from 10am Thursday 22nd June until 6pm Monday 26th June (yes that's FIVE days biggrin ) and will cost the princely sum of £25 in advance and £30 from two weeks prior to the festival. The tickets will be on sale from Sunday 2nd April right up until the event. The ticket price covers all facilities and events once onsite (bar, food & drink etc excluded of course) all workshops, the show(s), the childrens creche area etc etc etc

A beautiful organic farm set in the countryside (although 5 minutes from the town of Market Drayton) that will make for the most wonderful setting for this years (and hopefully many more) PLAY Festival.

(Please visit the Fordhall Farm website, they need to raise £600,000 by July 2006 to stop this beautiful fertile place from becoming yet another industrial development, if you can help their cause please do so hug )

It has great links to the M6 motorway via the A53 and for non car users we will post all info about the local transport situation asap. There isn't a train station that's particularly close but we will be laying on a PLAY Bus to make collections to/from the station as often as possible to help everyone out. There may be a very small charge for this (ie a quid or two) to cover the cost of the driver etc.

I will keep this post updated and of course keep your eyes on the PLAY Website and forum for the most up to date information.

If you could keep your questions in the PLAY Forum we'd much appreciate it as it will help us keep some control and ensure we answer as many as possible. It'll save Malcolms badwidth a little too.....

Hope to see you all there!

You have any of the Blond French guy? (Meiste was it?)

for those wetting their trousers waiting for footage of Meast aka Roman from PLAY, i'd recommend [Old link] [Old link] [Old link] to fill in the wait. They're rather quite good.

i spent some time watching him, and from the doe-eyed expressions of the ladies around me, i could tell they were just as fascinated by the cleanliness of his antispin axis isolations as i was.

Steaks... We should buy you a sack so you could practice being the next Houdini! (or Ted biggrin) Plus I think your stage ball ran off to the Ribena factory...

Yakumo! But I meant that I had shinola-loads of food back at the tent so I wasn't left starving! I just meant that none of it was meat - which I was trying for and I had a budget to keep to as the money I did have (on site) was allocated for buying toys. And what toys I bought! biggrin

Thanks anyway. Did I meet you Yakumo?

Actually when we were 'allegedly' drooling over Meast he wasn't doing any spinning. He was just walking around, topless. Leaving puddles in his wake... Once he got his shirt back on for the fire show THEN we watching the spinning. Hmmm, he's a martial artist. Makes sense really.

And WHY is it people always seem to pick up on innuendos that I made unintentionally?!

And Simita... NO! Wouldn't like to massage anyone's egos in public now would we? Like a religion it is between and my god when I'm on my knees preying... (sp? you decide...)

But as I said - he wasn't actually doing any staff during the day when he was flashing his washboard abs to all and sundry. At least if he was spinning a staff we would've had an excuse to gaze adoringly...

And I'll give you hints for three of the others

hah, I like pic of you hugging Nat with Yoni in the bacground, I spent a fair bit of time with them they're great smile

I didn't meet nearly enough of the HoPpers unfortunately (as in finding out their HoP nick) that's why I was hoping there'd be a HoP nick roll call one day smile

I was the guy with the 9 section whip (long heavy chain thing) trying to practice sometimes outside the vegie tent (only learnt to use it at Play smile ), or often inside the main tent spinning various glow poi by the sound desk.

other than that I'll put pics up soonish wink
