Whos been watching this gripping series between England and Australia?

I hated cricket for years but got into it properly a couple of summers ago and have loved the game ever since. This years ashes has been the most exciting competition I've watched so far and I was a bit suprised to not have seen any threads on it considering the large Aussie and English membership.

So, can England hold on for the win? Will Australia pull something out of the bag to get them back?

Your thoughts ladies and gents smile

Only England can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with such skill!

woohoo go aussies!

the english selectors will be off their dials if they don't make some changes now.

almost hope the poms win in perth just to make the series a little exciting, for the Melb Boxing day test which is huge.

don't rate your (pom) chances of retaining them now though. tongue

And WG Grace, he'd play better in his present state than the rest of the team.

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.

Hmm- cruel... tongue

Paneasar played in a game today- 2 wickets for 63 runs in 10 overs. He did dismiss 2 of the most dangerous batsmen, but he also got smashed about a bit.

He is still the most exciting and likely prospect that the English teams have for the next three tests though smile

Its time we started our war of words again (seeing as words are about the only decent thing in Englands attack at the moment...)

Well? Your turn to open proceedings I reckon smile

hug for Rouge smile

Meanwhile, in the cricket....

Not a bad day biggrin

Paneasr finally turned up and got 5 wickets, and even Steve 'where's-the-wicket' harmison got into his considerable stride and took 4.

We lost two early wickets, but at 51-2 at the close of play, the Aussies aren't getting it all their way biggrin

That looks like great fun Miss Rouge- I can't imagine what the Japanese must think of Cricket- most of Britian don't really understand it smile

As for the cricket- I think its fair to say that England have been truly stuffed.

Well played Australia, looking forward to the rematch already biggrin
