This trap sucks.
First off, those ropes were really easy to escape from with my trusty knife.
Second, I could easily climb out of that pit you want to put me in (one of many positive aspects of le Parkour).
Third, the infected are coming. I was actually running away from them on my way here. If you don't want to be eaten alive, I'd advise you to run as well.
Unless of course, you wish to make a stand?
