Just a warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a member of our number had her drink spiked at a club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So everyone male and female stay aware of your drinks never leave them un ocupied ever!!!
tips to take note of!!!

1)If you accept a drink from a stranger make sure the bartender hands it directly to you.

2)Never leave your drink and then go back to it, with out some one you know very well.

3)if a guy (or girl) that you dont know brings you over a drink that you did not ask for, so no!

4)If at any point you feel disorientated, or think its possable you have had your drink spiked, get incontact with the club straight away, they should look after you, and also tell the securety so they can be more vigilent.

5)Same goes with if your looking after someone who has had their drink spiked.

6) Cigerettes can also be spiked

7) Dont hesitate to call the police they are scum and deserve to be locked up

Im sure you all know this but just want it fresh in your mind so it does not happen again.

This discussion just reminded me of an evening in Thailand a year back when my girlfriend started feeling really sick after just two drinks. I'd bought her first drink, then gone off to get cigarettes from our room, and a guy at the bar had bought her another drink, assuming she was alone I guess. Once he realized that I was with her he left. It never occurred to us until right now that her drink might have been spiked!

I had a Friend who went to schoolies down the gold coast. Anyway her drink got spiked and she only has two images of what happened that night. Although i don't talk to her much anymore it still haunts me everyday what they did. i can't imagine her feelings.

I will never understand why people can do that then laugh the next day like it was nothing. And why the laws here are too weak do charge them.

My brother spiked my drink with Viagra once - I kid you not. I kept having random erections for two days after!

I was at work behind a bar notorious for it's clientele in short (SHORT) skirts and tight (TIGHT) tops. Needless to say, the Manager was sympathetic enough to keep letting me 'disappear' every now and then.

I've now got an addiction problem thanks to him, so I'm going through some 'hard times' ubbloco

Nuggit- have you actually read the other posts in this thread?

Could you take a moment to reflect on what it would be liked to be drugged and raped, and then ask yourself if the inane rubbish you've just posted above is in any way appropriate on this thread.

With all due respect OWD, I do totally appreciate the seriousness of spiking as I almost lost a friend to it on New Years Eve last year and have I myself have been admitted to hospital after my drink was spiked in a cheesy club in Ealing (I was also mugged as I crawled along the floor to the police station, just to cap it off).

Just because my original incident was slightly comical and I can laugh about it, it doesn't mean I don't sympathise with those who have been less fortunate (or worse) but I'm not about to go on a march or protest to stop something that is totally out of our control.

Drugs are bad mmmmkay.

I was only asking a question- if you do think that it's an appropriate post under the circumstances, then that's up to you.

I just want you to be aware that many people will consider it somewhat offensive.

Noted fella, hopefully no one will take offence to my light-hearted look on my own experience(s), but if they do then they are welcome to PM me, complain to a Mod or play knock down ginger on my front door.

It's kind of funny (and not in a good way) as to how some people don't respect your own intentions as to alcohol; more then once I've had people put a couple of shots of vodka into my glass because they know I don't drink and they find it amusing. Ultimately I'm to one driving them home and that behaviour is putting us all at risk.

Not nice.

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.
