For all you out of towners here is a map .

The train station is at the top left of the map where the blue P sign is, opposite The Grand Hotel. If you walk out of the station and straight down The High Street, past millets and Argo cross straight over the large roundabout, you will eventually get to the Castle. On your left you will see a perspex leaf in a pool of water at the top of an amphitheatre like stepped space. This is the meet point.

If you are coming in by bus you will be getting off at the Quadrant bus dept which is the pink block in the middle of the map. You will find it easiest to walk straight through the Quadrant shopping center passing Superdrug, The Body shop and Boots coming out by the exit next to HMV. Once outside turn left up the hill towards Topshop. Turn right past Top shop and keep walking. Infront of you you will find the Castle gardens and the leaf at the top.

If you are driving it will depend on which car park you choose as to the direction you walk. I have no idea of parking costs or which car park is best as I don't drive.... Sorry about that.

depends if the paraffin will be necessary as it won't be getting dark until 11pm ish now, depends if anyone will stay that late. unless you want to play with fire in the daylight. I am training it from Cardiff, but if anyone is driving, can i have a lift too pretty please? (although think we may be the only 2 coming from here anyway so there probably is no-one left to drive...?) but train's not so expensive to swansea anyway, think the bus may be even cheaper...?

The bus is cheaper, but I'm not sure how many run on a sunday or how late. You might find that as it's a sunday you'll end up on coaches anyway because of rail repare work on the train track.

yeah sure, we can do that. I just looked at trains there's one at 10.55 get's to swansea for 12.22, next one after that is 12.03 and gets in 13.34. depending on how close to 1pm ish, we are expected, i would think that the earlier one would be better, and allows time for getting lost, without holding everybody up?

The bus gets in even earlier, leaves 11.15 and arrives 12.15, and there's only 1 an hour... so we could meet by cardiff central station at about 10.30/40? or whatever, pm me if there is some complication smile

Buggleberry come to Play. It doesn't matter if you come on your own. You'll soon meet up with HoPpers and make lots of friends. The First meet I went to was a Christmas Falmouth meet and I knew no one at all. That was until I met Non on the train and with in minutes I had a new friend. HoPpers make friends fast and the friendship lasts.

Trust me. You'll have a great time, learn lots of new stuff and make a whole bunch of new friends who will welcome you with open arms (literally, HoPpers like to hug a lot smile ).

hey pm sent wink...

ok,,so heres the deal,, this land ive aquired is primarily for me and my lil crew here to do workshops,,simple intro to poi type thing,,as theres tonnes of trade walking right past the site during the summer,:D.. anyhoo,,we would prolly be doing our workshops during the early day,,upto around 4pm ish,,but if fellow spinners turn up, you can surley just join in and jam smile..after that tho we can just camp, spin and eat,, bbq maybe ? biggrin... we are in process of sorting out a generator for tunage wink,, ill get some photos of the place and post them for you tomorrow biggrin..

other than that what do you guys think?

ooh blimey, mini welsh festival? i hope your bit of land is big enough for it gizmo!

thanks to everyone who made it up to swansea yesterday! twas cool! and we will make somewhere easier for sagetree to find next time smile would be nice to have a later meet for firey purposes, but it depends on people getting home, or having somewhere to stay over, unless everyone has mobility to get back home to swansea, usk, or wherever, then maybe we can manage it. elsewise, we wait until winter when it gets dark earlier wink
