I just received a PM by a new member telling me that I am vindictive, mocking and should hone my raw talent into being a lawyer or some other bloodsucking thing.

I realise that I haven't been as nice on the boards for the last 6 months, and I must admit that I sometimes struggle with the multitude of personalities on Home of Poi and may come across as unnecessarily harsh.

So, I put it to all of you who put up with me on a frequent basis - have I turned into the mean moderator? Do I present myself in a way which indicates that it is time I handed in my resignation?

Please note that this in no way reflects the thoughts/feelings of site admin or any other mods.

I'm open to negotiation, but a good, thorough and well-thought out argument had better be presented if people want those threads reopened... AND, they should do it via PM.

I chose the name Indigo cos it is the colour associated with the Third Eye Chakra - the chakra of attunement and intuition (something I'm working on). It was the most acceptable name on the shortlist as far as my partner was concerned, as there is apparently some geeky audio software or something called Indigo too.

Oh flash quick question, consideringthose latest MASSIVE threads are locked and considering how they arent exactly good for referencing or research is it more useful that they are just deleted, to free up some of that lovely juicy bandwidth, or does it not work like that

I think we'll delete them sooner rather than later. It's handy to keep them within the forums for a while so people see that they are now locked and have not simply vanished.
