need some adv been doing weights to increase strength and stamina which is going well no prob there but i have noticed a loss in flexability due to this and combined with the fact i have no poi atthe mo need a hand so....Any handy hints or tips on how to keep limber and increase muscle? weavesmiley

for flexibility you should stetch after you've done some exercise. If you do it when you muscles are warm they will stetch further than if cold, and also remember their new length better.

I was considering taking up yoga. Because of my size (not that i'm Mr Universe, but i have quite broad shoulders) i find it very tricky bending enough to do, say, the behind the back weave. (curse you Brad) and someone suggested Yoga as a way of increasing flexibility. Has anyone tried it? Does it work? Is there anyone coming to Falmouth II who can teach me? Is it annoying when I put so many questions in a post? Do i care?

yoga always helps. i find that swimming a few laps a week also helps with flexibility. that is TuTu's 2 cents

Yoga and Pilates!!!

Very good for keeping the muscles stretched and increasing flexibility...also keeps my muscles in a relatively toned way.

And in lack of poi's... Use your imagination. Even a pair of shoes can make it out for poi's, in lack of better alternatives...
