The Raelian Message

From memory, I could be wrong so check it up yourself.....

These aliens contacted this guy and took him away to another planet where he met people like Jesus, Mohammed, Buddah and Elvis (well not Elvis) and was told how they were previous prophets of theirs and that he was the propher for the 3rd Millenium and he should spread the joy full word.... biggrin

So he does and it seems that if you can put up with Rael's preaching for several hours a day and give him your money, you may then partake in casual sex with other willing promiscuous members and book your space on the spaceship? Well not really but he must prepare us for the return on the Aliens which is about 2025 (i think....) ubbidea

Apparently there's a dissproportionate number of lapdancers making up the approximate 40,000 members worldwide.

What do you think. Does anyone wanna come and live in a commune with me? There's a chapter in Ireland it seems. ubbrollsmile

I live in a world of infinite possibilities.

Meh organised religious type groups are always making wack claims anyway.... cool

The term Raelism refers to the belief system promoted by the Raelian Movement, a religious organization which believes that scientifically advanced extraterrestrials known as the Elohim (derived from a Hebrew word appearing in the Torah) created life on Earth through genetic engineering, and that a combination of human cloning and "mind transfer" can ultimately provide immortality. Some people consider the Raelism group a cult.

Claude Vorilhon (born 1946), also known as Rael, founded the Raelian Movement, which claims to have about 55,000 members from 84 different countries. Membership may be particularly high in France, Japan, Canada (especially Quebec), and the United States (especially Florida). The Movement spreads its message via Rael's books, Raelian gatherings, and its web site.

The Raelians promote the social ideas of sexual self-determination and a spirit of sharing and responsibility, which, they claim, will bring a new age of wealth and peace. The philosophy is based on humanitarian values including human rights and freedoms.

Bah-- if you REALLY want a religion that's out to make money and gets you alien overlords, squid orgies, and bizarre genetic mistakes, just send in your $30 for membership in the Church of the Subgenius and get it over with.

"be eligible for all the $$$, weird sex, drugs, and sheer POWER OVER OTHERS that go with high-ranking membership in what will probably sweep this unkempt planet in an unstoppable wave of cynical, dangerous power plays, insanely morbid truths and panhandling, zombie-like teenage "followers."

"It's good to feel good! It's bad to feel Bad! If man were meant to feel guilt, he wouldn't have been born with a Bob!"

it may be a joke-- but it's a joke you can BELIEVE in!!

Pay to know what you REALLY think!!

"Ours is not to question The Head; it is enough to revel in the ubiquitous inanity of The Head, the unwanted proximity of The Head, the unrelenting HellPresence of The Head, indeed the very UNYIELDING IRRELEVANCE of The Head!" --Revelation X

If you ever watch rant tv (if you have winamp press alt-l and go to internet tv, select rantv and double click on it. The main host often goes "hunting" for raelians. Mostly he just interviews them and let their own zannyness shoot themselves down.
