So what this thread is about is basically taking a picture of your desktop and showing whats on them.

On the mac to do this:-
Hold apple key + shift then press 3
Upload the picture
(probably a good idea to change the picture to gif or jpeg)

I have two styles of desktop that I like to use, so these are them
first one
and the
second one.

I hope you realize how pissed I am.

to do it with windows, hit print screen (next to scroll lock)...it will copy a picutre of the screen to the clipboard. you can paste that into whatever you like, and then save it.

The 2 wallpapers I use most often are on this page

I've got a few more, but they're mainly active webpages that have stuff like bubblewrap on so they don't look too impressive as just a picture.

edit - Before you ask, I'm not really that obsessed with monkeys

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

All of my backgrounds are dark (dark colors i.e black, dark purple, dark blue) because my eye are sensitive to the refresh rate. Even if it's at it's highest.

Dark, for once is good (besides when your spinning )

Ok so this is how to upload it.
1. Make sure your picture is in gif or jpg and has the corespoding ending .gif or .jpg.
Go on teh net to www.angelfire.com
2. sign up and go to the webpage builder.
3. At the bottom of teh screen there is an upload thing with a browse buttom, click on it.,
4. Locate the picture.
5. Now in the window there will be a file with a name the same of the file you uploaded.
6. Click open file.
7. Copy url and post it here.

I hope that helps.

I hope you realize how pissed I am.

um.. yeah, except for that angel fire won't let you link to your pictures.

that kinda makes it pointless.
