When Josh and Katinca came to visit me in Paris last June, we filmed a lot and I finally got around to making a little video out of all that footage. (I also had to learn to use Premiere)

So here it is. All feedback is welcome. Apologies for the ugly landing webpage:

https://www.neonomad.net/video.htm

Enjoy!

For some reason, I cant see the video. I open it, the music starts and the title comes up with a black background. Then the title fades away and music continues but no video comes up. It happens no matter what program I use to view it.

Katinca, your movement is magnificent - such control of balance and pace!

Josh, you have such a unique skill set! your international roaming is reflected in your repertoire! and such faultless v plane control!

Nomad, you are slick with the huge poi as ever!!

please, please someone tell me that paris throws psychedelic trance parties within sight of the Eiffel when it emits that insane strobing effect!!

i was simultaneously scared and amused by that fire spinning news report. ok mostly scared.

it is always a delight to see spinning in paris.

I noticed the strobe effect too. What was that? Camera flashes going off?

Thanks for the good words guys. Unfortunately, no trance parties in front of the Eiffel Tower... yet.

The strobe effect is not the camera, it's Eiffel itself. Every night, from sundown till 2am, it strobes for 5 minutes on the hour. Pretty cool, isn't it? The best effect is at 2am, when the tower's main lights are off and only the strobe lights flash, that looks reaaally cool.

Unfortunately, i had to take this video down due to... too many people watching it! My bandwidth is indeed very limited so unless someone can offer to host it, it won't be back up until Nov. 1.

Nomad,

This video rocks!!

The sparkling tour really looks amazing as a backdrop for spinning.

Watching the clips of me spinning showed me just how much work I have to do, thanks!

Hey guys, i'll be able to put it back up tomorrow as new month starts with new bandwidth availability.

Actually, not tomorrow but Monday, since I'll be in London this weekend.

Since the Tower seems to impress everybody, i think i'll rename the video "Eiffel strobes".

Elasta, the main track is called "Evil and Harm", from Young Brothers Band. Got it on the Global Psychedelic Chill Out VOL 3 (CD 1).

The music for the intro (before Fox News guy) is "Sarangi" by Hooverphonic.
