Posted: Hey there, my name is Kim and I am a hoop/poi teacher in the making--I am seeking other hoop and poi artists who are interested in making connections, meeting new friends and sharing moves in the park with me this summer. Must be kid friendly (my 8 year old will likely join since she hoops too!) and willing to meet up at Assiniboine Park (anywhere works but the duck pond is great!). If this is you, I'd love to get together and collaborate. Email me at kim.L.she@hotmail.com to connect with me and brainstorm! Bring your friends and your fave toys. Hope to hear from you...

Posted: Hey Guys!
Doesn't look like a whole boatload of us are here, but I am too.
I've begun my play with fire a short while ago, and look to meet other fire players. I do fire eating, spinning, fire flogging, and a few other things, and am anxious to expand my repetoire and knowledge.
Sounds as if I missed a good number of events this summer, but shall be watching atomic's site for future events, and hope to see all of you out there too!
Cheers,
minou

Posted: Sup guys. I'm from Winnipeg. I'm pretty new to poi, started teaching myself in december. Now that it's nice out I'm hoping to do alot more spinning taking advantage of being outside with alot more space (learning in the family room sucks). Anyways I was wondering if you guys meet more frequently during the spring/summer and if so where do you guys usually meet? I'm hoping to meet some local spinners and see what I can learn.
