Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.

The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.

Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!

So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens

St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)

The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)

With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Here's the map

https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...360&ie=UTF8

*WINTER LOCATION*

Under the Princess bridge (Southbank side). Where the Southbank Sundey market happens.

Whooooo, nice meeting you last night Brenn. The party kicked ass, and kept going till about 5:00 am I think, I was pretty smashed and wasn't aware of the time.

I'll be letting you know when the end of city party is, coz that'll be even bigger

Whoooo, I'm still drunk

Hey guys, I don't think I'll be making it to a Sunday for a very long time. I just landed a job that is 10pm til 3am Sundays!

I could come before work I guess, but I wouldn't be suitibly dressed as it's at a club and I have to dress up - heels and all!

Thanks for a wonderful time everyone.

I have had a ball meeting up with you all in Melbourne and that party was the best send off I could have hoped for. Am suffering now though.

I am currently sat in Sydney internationl airport after missing my flight and having to book another one, only costing me around $120 instead of $1,500 as I was expecting.

Will let you all know when I make home though grouphug

Looks like I'm going to be absent from Melbourne for quite a while (at least) as well..

I'm going to go sort onions. Hopefully. Sounds like a really exciting job, I know, but it counts towards my visa extention and it's probably pretty easy..

Anyway, y'all have fun now..

Indeed! I saw a troupe in Austria who performed with the girls in black cocktail dresses and high heels... the guys in white shirts, flowers in the button holes, snappy suits, polished shoes and jazzy gangster hats! biggrin

Hi Guys!
I used to twirl at the "Tree's of Three" and the etenborough Gardens YEARS ago (Like 2001-2002?) Just wondering if anyone who used to twirl back then, still does? Some of the people I used to twirl with were Willy, Penna, Pete, Harley, Dan, Olga etc. If you are any of these people- or used to twirl with these people- Let me know biggrinDDD I miss it- and have some shiny shiny new multi coloured LED Poi i'd like to take for a spin.

Hi Bill!
I'll post on that link as well.
I used to twirl at both places.
Which is why I posted here.
"Tree's of Three" used to be a nick name for the St Kilda twirls as well.

But I'll certainly post on the other thread, we did move there- so your probably right, I'll have the most luck there.

Thank you v. much for your help ^_^

Although i will most likely be hungover from the previous 2 nights, I'm going to make a HUGE effort to come this week. Spinning allows me to procrastinate much more effectively than staying at home.

Lol I know
I lied. Brenn just reminded me that its Queen's birthday weekend. UnderOATH concert sunday night!
Make that Sunday week... Then I shall be in the middle of exams and more procrastination will be required.
