Has anyone got any ideas/suggestion for a bent Fire Staff.

Its a Aluminium core 'monster' fire staffs (140cm long) with a purple grip fitted with oversized large wicks (100mm).

It has been bent (by a useless drunken lump/person how hasn't even bothered to apologise) with the bend being centre right.

I'm thinking it is probably time to bite the bullet and just buy a new one, but you never know.

It couldn't hurt to try and bend it back. It's not like it's all fixed now so might as well screw with it.

If the wick is very new you could just take it off and put it back on a new alu rod? Preferably with wood all the way through so it wont bend so fast the next time.

i spent years struggling with bent staffs, i tried making staffs with wooden cores, carbon fibre and titanium, but they all bent, i spent a long time with the guys from firetoys discussing this problem and they built these for me......

they are very light, very strong and i haven't bent one yet, i train and perform more than most people and I also throw my staffs very high....sadly i also drop them a lot which means they have plenty of opportunity to bend!
regarding the old staff my guess is it will never be the same again so just just use it to hit whoever bent it wink

You could just go with the bend and make yourself some buugeng wink

You should be able to find a metal worker with some rollers, but will probably be quite a short set.

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

Time to cut it down and make some short staffs....
Cut out the bend and make yourself a fire nunchuck...
Cut it in half, add some ball handles and make swinging clubs...
Strip the wick and pickup some more aluminium for a new staff...

erm... nope thats it for now but there are loads of options depends on how creative you are feeling grin

Ram it up the guy who bent it's arse.

Problem not really solved, but you might feel better. smile
