Hey Everyone!

well I thought I would start a thread for the upcoming CG.

All we have locked in for now is the date;

Friday to Monday, 2nd to the 5th October.

www.common-ground.net for info,

MMM CG goodness.

***UPDATE***

most of the tickets are now sold.

ALL TICKETS NOW SOLD

Please do not pass on ticketing info to people who have not bought tickets, if you put money in our account and have not confirmed with Kate, then we will send you back the money minus postage.

It looks like this coming CG09 will be the last big CG that Katinca and I organise for a while (perhaps someone else will take up the torch?) - cuz Katinca and I need a bit of time for travel and getting our land in order. However, we have a lot of very special ideas for this CG which will probably make it better than it's ever been before, so if you are still tossing up whether you want to come this year or not, you really should come.

J

Hehe Stressful for you Gita - what about us....might be down a toilet or two this year.... (jk)

Anyway, its all good. While Ben sorts out the paypal side of things, if you want to purchase a ticket you can email me, and we can do the bank transfer thing (I know it works, as its been tested over 200 times....wow that's a lot of mail when you think about it).

So for tix, email me at common-ground2006(AT)hotmail.com

Cheers,
Kate

Hopefully we can find a suitable amount of couches (i.e. one or more) for hillside race action.

Hahaha, I reckon almost everyone at the festival saw that, I know most of the people in the playspace turned to see it, the chill tent would have had a good view.

hmmm, I'd be worried that after falling off the couch half way down the hill, it would land on top of me
I think I'll just watch and laugh from a distance laugh3

I'd say the thorns and thistles would be a lot more damaging than the couch itself unless of course it hit you in a not nice position.

I'll be happy to watch from the play space, most likely.

How is the couch sliding down the hill? i wouldn't have thought wheels would work.

Also cheese rolling is a great idea, but you need a steep slippery hill, check this out:

ok, maybe not as steep as that one. but hey, I'll try nearly anything once!

This festival just keeps looking better and better, should get my ticket soon.

Hi ppls,

Just an up date on tickets. Even though pay-pal is down, I am still getting requests and payments... so I am still selling tickets.

I am happy to annouce that we have sold over half the tickets, I I suspect they will sell out easy by the end of July.

So if your still thinking - think faster or you will get the tuff luck kiddo sold out, and then the ha ha nah nah from your friends who do have tickets to attend......

grin

Joy -

ok back to cheese. mmmm cheese.

Right I think I will definetly have a cheese appreciation workshop. All participants are required to bring a piece of cheese to share.

.. as I said before mmm cheese.
