Hi Guys!

I have a strange request, well okay not so strange for me... lol

I am looking for a special kind of chocolate, in my opinion it is one of the most amazingly delicious things I have ever tasted. I have only a remnant of a wrapper to aid me in tracking it down. Amazingly enough, after much searching, I found their website-- www.hachez.de

But it is in German! Argh! And I cant figure out how to find out where I can get it in Canada, or in Thailand. Anybody care to translate?

Or, if you are in Germany can I send you some$$ and you send me a dozen bars of the strawberry pepper one? And any others that sound interesting? Pm me?

Oh, I know this sounds silly. But I am a chocolate addict, and it is Easter soon!!

Help!!

smiles,

I don't know about all of that...but this company has the best chocolate that I've ever put in my mouth...
I got one of these from my Pogo for Valentine's Day...and I haven't been able to eat any of the mass marketed stuff since...no more Hershey Kisses...no Reese cups...nothing!!!
Just doesn't come anywhere close!!!

https://www.zchocolat.com/default.asp

Check the left side of the page and you'll see that they have all kinds of stuff...Yummmmmmmy!!! ubbloco

YUM! Looks fabulous. But I am bit fixaed on this particular one... I am sure I will get it soon. I am close now that I know the company that makes it! I have a few germans who may just be convinced to help me out if I offer sufficient bribes wink

Hey Andrea,

click on B2B and fill out the form and ask them, usually these companies are quite happy to fulfill special requests if you pay, and it says on top they cater for individual wishes. Most Germans speak English, keep it simple and they'll reply or pass it on. Or pm your request to me and I'll ask for ya smile hug

Somewhat incomplete English website, but with email link: https://www.hachez.de/en/index.php3?flash=1&navi=1&browser=explorer

And you're right, they ARE delicious!!

Sweety, why on earth don't you get in touch with - say Gordon, who is from Bremen - stuff him some Baht and demand exchange into choclate bars? umm

I'm certain we'll find some fellow "Michel" who will either send, or even take some choclate to Thailand exclusively for you... (maybe consider posting in the Diggin Deeper-thread?)

You don't have to outst yourself wink (if you're not enjoying) hug

Do they have it in Suvanabhumi Int'l??? If so, I could get you some.... mmmh, I delayed arrival for April 11th in order to celebrate "easter HillTop end of season sunday rave"... according to the present numbers, we'll be 20 ppl sharing the dancefloor wink rolleyes

I'm sure I've seen that brand of chocolate around here somewhere- and the strawberry and pepper one in particular.

I know me being in the UK isn't all that helpful, but I could see what I can find for you smile

Fire Tom, apparently Strawberries and black pepper works really well together, especially in a sandwich so I believe. Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall (British chef) calls it a kind of portable Summer Pudding smile

Strawberries and pepper is a great combination! If you have no chcoclate handy, try lightly saute-ing fresh strawberries with fresh ground pepper, balsamic vinegar, and a little dash of maple syrup... yum. You can put it on some runny brie cheese...

You guys are awesome to go looking for me!Thanks!

confused strawberries and black pepper umm considered that an april fools joke... But hey, maybe I'll give it a shot.

But the above recipe (strawberries, pepper, balsamico and maple syrup in the same pot, not even to speak of that runny brie cheese) sounds as if you're pregnant, dear... umm wink ubblol

Hmmm...you have a point there, Tom...

Andrea...craving chocolate...and talking about putting a strawberry syrup onto runny cheese...???

Something you're not telling us??? *giggle*

Oh...I wouldn't think that putting pepper and strawberries together would be much different than adding a touch of cayenne to cocoa...just gives it a whole new spin...!!!

Freya...I'd have to agree with you about Lindt...they do have some good stuff...Haven't tried any of theirs since having the French chocolates...but their milk chocolate truffle thingies are rather dreamy!!! tongue

Hmn maybe I should check on that wink

But seriously, try it.( strawberries, not pregnancy!lol) But dont cook the strawberries, just heat them really quickly in a very hot pan, preferably over flame. And the pepper needs to be fresh ground, or fresh cracked, not old powdery stuff. Only a tiny splash of balsamic and maple syrup, certainly not enough to make a sauce. It just kind of sears it to the outsides.

Brie though, pregnant or not, I always love Brie! Blue sesame moon crackers, brie, avocado and a squish of lime-- heavan. Dark chocolate, rasberry wine, and organic home made vanilla ice cream for dessert...

Bliss!

Yep I am sure I can manage to get some strawberries on KO PG at least certain seasons... In fact, I remember having a spectacular strawberry shake at Bamboo Hut!

Lindt is amazing, their orange dark chocolate with crushed almonds is my second favorite kind of bar. Just wish they were organic free trade though.

And for hot chocolate, I am bringing a supply of Dagoba ( the very best brand) to Thailand, it is yummy dark chocolate mix with chilis and spices in it! No doubt the Thai's will enjoy...
