Just a thought...

Would it be worth starting on a "Knowledge Base" of poi and staff moves? A bit like the aricles but user-contributed...

As in, you could create a thread about fwd weave and all the variations (isolated, 5bt, 7bt, seperations) - but you only post moves and variations, no discussions, questions etc - save that for "how do I do this move" threads...
So eventually, you could build-up a fairly comprehensive list of moves and descriptions on how to do them.

It could be done on a "family" basis - e.g. for poi - weave, butterfly, buzzsaw - then theories - anti-spin, polyrhythm - or staff; steve variations, halo's, matrix etc etc.

Would it work?
Would it be pointless?
Should I actually do some work as opposed to try and pass the time more quickly on HoP?

I like the idea, although I think Meg has some very complicated descriptions of staff moves floating about already...

I could do with learning some of this Poi stuff people keep talking about on here though.

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

I've been thinking about this for ages...

I really don't think a forum is a good medium for it. A wiki is ok, but I have some other ideas that might make it better.

On the other hand, wouldn't it be better (for hoppers, maybe not hop) to extend the spherc poidia? There is no point in having 2 databases that are half there when we could have 1 really good one.
